Man United and Evra should press charges against Liverpool for defamation. It is the right thing to do.

We'd win the case but there'd be little gain other than that. It would probably further divide opinions and would endanger the safety of the supporters during future encounters. Not that it'd be the club or Evra's fault mind, but that's the reality of the situation Liverpool have created.
It isn't helped by all those noises coming from Uruguay either, what a bunch of cocks they are to stick their noses in matters that aren't their fucking business. Those siding with Suarez have lost all common sense.

I suppose we won't know more till all the facts come out, but I just can't get my head round Pool's argument. Going to ignore the character assassination for the minute.
Their argument is that Suarez said the word right? He has 100% admitted that, but he claims he was using it in a friendly context?
A) He said it around 10 times from what people have been saying, it clearly annoyed Evra, so he obviously was using it to annoy Evra. Right?
B) He has been in Europe for (6 years?) and apparently Holland don't like the word either (From what I understand).
So I don't quite get why Liverpool are defending it, no one is calling Suarez a racist, I don't think he is! I just think he is an idiot! This could have all been avoided if he simply apologised for using racist language. So maybe a Pool fan can explain it to me (I am not trying to be hostile I just don't get how any sane person can defend the use of racist language with a flimsy excuse for it and an independent panel has also obviously found it a flimsy excuse).
EDIT: We would win, England is the defamation capital of the world
If you want to sue for defamation in any country it is this one; it could however be counter productive, all Evra would probably get is cash and it would just drag it out longer.
I am very proud of the way United have handled this! United have shut up and let everyone else get on with it.
Well done.

Doesn't matter if Suarez got a black uncle that's what someone told me anyway, or him posing for pics with black fans etc. That doesn't mean he's not racist, I've heard it before from people making racist remarks then saying I'm not racist I got loads of black friends.
Seems like to me that Liverpool are defending him cause he is one of there best players and they want him playing to get in the top 4. So there willing to ignore, sweep the racist remarks under the carpet.
Could also come down to money as well which things normally do.
It's a disgrace IMO and I think he got off lightly.20...

I don't think whether Suarez is a racist or not is relevant (Despite everyone on RAWK having "Suarez is not a racist" as their taglines
) I don't care if he is or not, that is not the crime he is being punished for.
He is being punished for racist remarks. I wonder if Liverpool will be punished for the t shirts? Inciting violence or something?

I don't think the Liverpool players realise what this case is all about, they continue to state that Suarez is not racist. However no one is calling Suarez a racist, the case was if he directed a racial slur at Evra, which I'm lead to believe he has admitted to. The case is not trying to determine if Suarez is racist, yet all the Liverpool players keep saying is Suarez is not racist.
This whole saga has put anti racism campaigns to shame in the way Evra has been treated, he is the victim, yet all I'm seeing is people coming out and calling Evra a liar and calling for him to be punished. Terrible way to treat a player who has been racially abused.

There's not much to discuss really, it's all too positive to discuss.

We were brilliant at a difficult ground. They had a good spell but that was well after we'd put them to bed, and we shut them up afterwards anyway. Welbeck is improving at a spectacular rate, what a player he'll become. Nani had a great game as well, he was simply devastating. Rooney's piledriver was awesome, he should try that more often. It's been a while since we've seen him do that more often. Berba's finish, classic.
Lindegaard is very, very solid. I think he could comfortably be the first keeper at a European top club. Like ourselves really, but we've got such a wonder talent in De Gea. Difficult situation as I wouldn't want to lose either player. Oh and rumours are Jones has only bruised his jaw, would be great new.
We're looking very strong and playing our best and most balanced football in a long time, at a crucial time too. Fantastic stuff. Mind you, if we drop points in the next game we'll be back in a crisis, just you watch.

I blame Evra. Being French he could have sorted this out on the pitch. A quick Kung-Fu kick to the Suarez chest, end of story.... Eric will be ashamed of his fellow Frenchman.

Typical scouse reactions though, they're always the victim no matter what they do. The club and players should be fined for some sort of contempt. You can guarantee if the United players had worn shirts supporting Evra, the FA would have dragged United over the coals for inciting the scouseland.
If Suarez gets an eight match ban, JT should start looking for some soap-on-a-rope.

That's true Warrior, you can't really debate if we are all saying "We were awesome"

Glad the doom and gloom has taken a temporary stop, the title race is right on! City are favourites I admit (Only as we have to got to WHL, Emirates, Bridge, United stadium) Luckily we have already been to Klanfield.
It's going to be tight but hopefully United can nick it.

In regards to Lindeegard vs De Gea. I think it is a huge plus we finally have two great goalie's. During the VDS era we only had one good keeper and it hurt us. When VDS needed to rest we we're significantly worse in defense. SAF is being really smart rotating the keepers as well. If any of them gets injured the other one will be ready.

I'm delighted with both our GK's, the strong competition will be very good for them, not often you see competition between GK's.

I'm just worried that situation isn't maintainable. It looks like Fergie is going with De Gea for no1 as well, and it remains to be seen if Lindegaard will stay comfortable with that situation. So far he's played more than a traditional number 2, but once De Gea starts maturing I think he'll be a level above Lindegaard, and the latter's appearances might decrease a fair bit. I've never seen a top club treat 2 keepers as near equals before, so I don't know. At the moment though, it seems they're taking pressure of each other which is great.

I think Lindergaard should be played again in next game against Wigan.

It's irrelevant anyway, as Suarez admitted the use of the word negro (or negrito, whatever). That's the biggest joke of it all, Liverpool going out of their way to question the credibility of Evra when they've already admitted that Evra spoke the truth! It's such a ridiculous contradiction, and still it lives on. But hey, those defending Suarez aren't going to let logic and common sense get in their way.

I think it's a total disgrace what Liverpool are doing and Glen Johnson should of refused to wear the t shirt. If Liverpool do appeal against the ban it should be doubled.

when are black men ever not angry

seriously though he was talking about how football had got better but more needed to be done to get rid of racism, and then started talking about demographics and how there are players from all over the worlds. then he said there are loads of coloured players.

Suarez won the Sky Sports player of 2011 award, never mind there were loads and loads of better players than him. It sums up the small-time mentality of Liverpool supporters that they'd rig a poll like this as a reaction to the ban. I'd say it's fairly obvious one of Nani or Silva were the best players in 2011.
