    Appleseed Ex Machina

Just wondering has anyone else watched this? I'll be finishing it tonight, but I've been completely hooked for the first 32 minutes. Surprisingly, it isn't bad at all in English, although I'd like to find it in Japanese with subtitles.

Ex Machina seems far more refined, with more compacted into less, but at no loss for atmosphere or impact. Maybe it's due to the fact that we know a lot of the basic information and how things work this movie has more time to focus on character and storyline. Regardless, as far as the movie itself goes, I love it far more than the first already <3

Looks impressive. I'm currently grabbing the 1080p version of the movie to see how it is.

I grew up on Appleseed, from what I remember it's a solid anime.

Won't hurt to watch the previous movie & OVA.

Huge thanks to my awesome friend Finalreaper for the sig!!

    It's OUT?!

    FRAKKIN' FINALLY!

I'll be picking this up in its full 1080p glory for the BD when I get mah MGS4 + PS3 BUNDLE!!!

Man, I was waiting FOREVER for this... I quite liked the original 3D Cell-shaded AppleSeed movie, wasn't that bad for its time.

The_One: Are you not able to simply pick up Appleseed Ex Machina on Blu-Ray now instead of later when Metal Gear Solid 4 is released?

Actually, I looked at my local Futureshop, and they had the DVD and HD-DVD version, but not the Blu-Ray version... Odd, hmm.

I'm going to have to look around if I were to find the Blu-Ray version.
