Comparing it to the length of the PS3 below, it's most likely no bigger than a 24" monitor.
Good try! It is a 63 inch tv.
I don't think I ever posted the shot below. The PS3 is fed into my Denon 4311CI and I take the second HDMI out into a splitter in my home office (luckily a closet backs up to the main room), so I can use it with either screen. The screens in this shot are 25.5 and 42 inches.

Very nice! Denon+mini+ps3+Directv is a winner...although I may be biased. I like the pool table, too.
What Denon model had a board go out? The reason I ask is that my 3808ci had a lot of problems which why I have the 4311ci. I had a warranty and they ended up replacing the 3808ci with a refurb. It is now in the bedroom.Last edited by uofmtiger; 06-23-2011 at 02:21.

Thanks!
1909 died on me. The receiver would keep going into standby mode. I checked speaker wires, and all sorts of troubleshooting including removing all cables and just going with the radio, and it would still shut down. I took it to American TV where I bought it, and they put it on their test bench for a couple days. It finally went into standby mode for them as well, and it came back HDMI board. No way was I dropping $520 to fix a $700 receiver.dWhat Denon model had a board go out? The reason I ask is that my 3808ci had a lot of problems which why I have the 4311ci. I had a warranty and they ended up replacing the 3808ci with a refurb. It is now in the bedroom.

How do you get that inventory screen? Did you get that on a Mac some how (mac hdd icon in bottom right) ?

Nice set up my friend! Enough space at the bar and infront of the TV if/when I visit the US haha. I like the directtv thing. Gives the set up a nice and tidy look.
Haha I personally worked my *** off for what I have (and am getting soon
). I worked all sorts of crazy hours, getting up at 2:30am to start work at 4, or later shifts finishing at 12:30am... either 11-13 hour shifts. I dont think I am rich, I just minimize wasteful spending on immediate pleasures knowing that I can treat myself to new toys.

Made some changes to the bedroom system. It is mainly stuff that was once in my living room, but has been moved to the bedroom for one reason or another. The Denon 3808ci finally came back from the shop and it is now in my bedroom system.
I do not have the Nintendo or Xbox hooked up right now and I am still deciding if it is worth the effort. I may take them out of the setup.

It's been a while since I've posted back here, but once I stumbled onto the thread I thought I would give an update

First off I'm totally pumped to even see some life still in this thread
. uofmtiger you have some nice gear I have to say!
Since last posting I have moved to a new location after graduating college and becoming a working professional. I know there is at least one piece of new gear (perhaps more) and with that said here are a few new pics:
TV: Panasonic TH-50PZ700U Plasma
Amplifier: Emotiva XPA-3
Receiver: Denon AVR-2808ci
Speakers:
Definitive Technology Studio Monitor 450's (L/R)
Definitive Technology Pro Center 1000 (C)
Definitive Technology Pro Sub 800 (SW)
Definitive Technology Pro Monitors x4 (Rears)
Power Conditioner: Panamax 5300MX Power Conditioner
Remote: Logitech Harmony 890

And below are a few older pics showcasing the room, but they were taken before I got my new XPA-3.

Don't mind the mess, these pics were a quick thought and I'm too lazy to clean right now

The Emotiva XPA-3 amp is my newest piece that I just added a few days ago, and I'm not sure if I had posted my DefTech SM450's before or not. The amp is a 3 channel amp and I have it powering my front left, center, and front right speakers. I'm not sure how quick it will happen but next on the list is a new (bigger) center.
Cheers guys, hope all is well.Blu-ray.com - My HT Setup
