Motorstorm 2 Trailer: 6PM GMT TODAY!!!!

MotorStorm 2 if you've been following the torrent of information leaks springing forth from the internet over the last couple of weeks.

Here's what you should definitely know though: if you swing by IGN later on today at 6pm GMT, you can feast your eyes on the first MotorStorm 2 teaser trailer. Despite some haggling, Sony adamantly refused to let us spoil the surprise and give you a sneak-peak at the game so you'll just have to believe us when we say it has the potential to blow your socks clean off your lower appendages.




So far, it's been revealed that MotorStorm 2 does away with the barren desert landscapes of the first game, replacing all that brown with lush vegetation in a tropical island setting. It features water hazards, destructible scenery and monster trucks.

Finally, online play is rumoured to be complemented by four-player split-screen race-offs, which is always nice in a retro sort of way.

So, just to recap, that's 6pm GMT, today, Wednesday March 12. Be there or be completely indifferent.

At Neo-GAF someone was saying it's not, but it also has tons of gameplay material. The beginning is supposedly pre-rendered, but the rest straight from the game. I mean, really, Sony must've learned from Motorstorm 1's revealment that they should always show real-time stuff instead of pre-rendered vids.

Cool. Quick question for those who finished Motorstorm. I'm am only two tickets away from beating the game, given up on the golds at this point, but have all silvers up to now. IS there an actual ending of sorts for the game, any awards given? I love the game, and have gotten all the enjoyment out of it, but the last tickets are so frustrating and taking away from the fun of the game. Just wondering if it is worth it to fire it up again and beat it if theres some ending.

I picked the game up again a few weeks ago and finally finished it - you just get credits I'm afraid.....didn't seem worth the effort of getting those last few golds tbh lol (having to use a buggy in Rain God ffs!!!) but it's still a great game. I was pretty satisfied when I finished it lol. If the second one has split screen it will be amazing.

I'm sure we have to wait a little longer. If you set your system's clock to 6 pm exclamation marks appear instead of the counter on threespeech.com. I think 6.00 pm in the US is meant. But I'm in Europe so I have to wait at least 6-8 hours until I get the video. Hopefully this proves wrong.

I should have never bought this PS3 - To many nice games coming out and I can't affort all this...........................

Got the 1st one in the 80G box, fun but I always play online when I feel like playing, so I only beat like 5 races in single play mode. I only see it getting better. I don't know how they can top the desert but I bet they will do it.
