well i haven't played rainbow six in awhile (not since ps1) but I Just Got BF: BC And I Have To Say I Like It. They Have Lots Of "trophies" (not PLaystation trophies) wildcards, and etc. lots of different challeges that make it fun. there are 8 huge maps. and they are soon adding a new game mode. I'd say it is worth the $60 bucks i paid for. and i haven't noticed lag yet and i have the crapiest broadband connection you can get...

Don't give up on MGO just yet! Its got the best community setup on any PS3 game so far. Try and find RES only rooms on Free Battle. RES allows SOP to really shine through and turns MGO from average-ish TPS to super fun tactical TPS....
However, BF:BC would be my choice. I had the two Vegases, and found no.2 to be nothing but a poor expansion pack. The online is just not as addicting as it was before and only lasted me three weeks (RSV lasted me four months). BF:BC seems to be a good online game, but the community support is poor and some of the mechanics are very un-balanced.
Hope that helps!

I've played both R6V2 and Battlefield Bad Company multiplayer and i have to suggest Battlefield Bad Company by a long shot. While i thought R6V2's multiplayer was alright i think Battlefield is simply just a lot better

i have played army of two, and if you are playing SP, dont bother!! As the title of the game suggests, you definently have to play MP. It's ok, the graphics are decent but the length isn't that long and sometimes the Co-op feels a little 'forced'.
Not sure about BF: BC, i havent played it or got the demo yet.

Hey, I need your guys opinions.
Should I get Civilization Revolution ( when it comes out next week) or should I get Battlefield: Bad Company?
I'm really stuck. Because I heard BF:BC single player wasn't great, but multiplayer (the online on the demo was good, but I've heard bad things about MP in the game).. Then Civilization, which I played the demo and I thought it was good..
Any opinions?

i just got my ps3 this morning (mgs4 bundle) and i immediately got GRID. its fantastic. the music is awesome as well. ridge racer 7 is another racer that i want to hunt down, as well as what people have been saying, burnout paradise. i wouldn't buy gt5 prologue... too difficult for me

I'm stuck between rock band or three games(probably Battlefield:BC, Mlb 08, and Bioshock). I have played Rock Band and love it but with #2 out later this year and GH 4 maybe I should wait. Thanks in advance!!

hi im new here and need help picking a game. i currently have 7 games and they are :
Unreal tournament 3, Folklore, Ratchet and Clank, Call of Duty 4, Grand theft auto 4, Fifa 08, Skate
I've heard a lot of good reception for the game metal gear solid 4, but i heard that you should've played the previous one to enjoy it?
The genres i enjoy are sport, role-playing games and first person shooters.

hey, firstly love your user name lol. you like the work the PM is doing??
It wouldnt matter that much if you got metal gear solid 4 without playing the rpevious ones. a lot of people here have said it was their first MGS and they said they still loved it. You will enjoy it, its got fantastic gameplay but you may be a little confused with the story cos there are heaps of cut-scenes. this would be the game i recommend to you most.
For rpg, there arent many out at all, you could try oblivion, its got a sort of more world of warcraft feel to it. its a western RPG.
For sport, you seem to have the best ones so i wouldnt recommend any for now.
for FPS i suggest giving The Orange Box a look. 5 games in 1. you're bound to like at least a couple.

yeah im liking the way Kev is running Australia at the moment.
Anyway, thanks. i'll definetly give Metal gear solid 4 a look. Im not so sure about Oblivion, i've seen gameplay footage and that style of gaming doesnt suit my taste. Also might look into the orange box as you said.
Oh yeah, im also interested in another couple of games. Timeshift and i want a decent car game. any recommendations? i've seen gran turismo for only $40 so im looking into that the most.

ok, yep Oblivion, despite all the good scores it got, some people dont like it, so you may be one of them.
Timeshift - I haven't played it. Its average score is around like 69 or something. i dunno about it, it sounds interesting with the time movement and stuff but i wouldnt get it for full price. maybe if it was $40.
as for a decent car game the only one i have is Gran turismo 5 prologue.
It's a great game and by no means is it a demo. Its got fantastic visuals and it is as long as most other car games.

I was hoping someone could help me out here! Its been a long summer for me so far, and thinking of picking up a game and rotating out of my usual games..
I can only afford one at the moment (want all 3 eventually). Debating between Ratchet & Clank, Uncharted and Folklore...
A little background... played the first Ratchet game for the Ps2 and enjoyed it, never played the sequels but the demo is interesting regardless.
Folklore is new I'm figuring, the demo was intriguing, I like action RPGs and one of my favourite games was Dark Cloud.
Never even seen any gameplay, but I've heard good things about Uncharted.
Which one should I get?

This fall there will be many many to choose from right now I like Burnout Paradise an open world racing game takes a little getting used to but so much to do in the game. To get good at it you have to become very familiar with all the streets and short cuts.
I also picked up Civilization Revolution but need more time with it before I give my opinion.
The one shooter game that I can't get enough of is Warhawk and they are going to add content to the game as long as people will play it. There are already 2 booster packs with new maps and vehicles out right now and a new booster in the works, no details on that one yet.
That's the 3 that I recommend for now.

hey guys i need some advice. I'm selling my copy of Ratchet and Clank, so with a litlle addition from me, i'll have enough to buy a new game. Do you think i should go for Lair? This game has got some really mixed reviews, and ever since assassin's creed, i dont trust reveiw sites anymore. I would like to know how good Lair is as a SP, and how long it is. Does it have a lot of complicated techniques or will i get the hang of it in half an hour or so. I usually have no difficulties getting used to a games controls, so the motion sensing should not be a problem for me IF it is done right. Also, a guy is asking ,me to trade my CoD4 for Rainbow 6 Vegas 2. Should i go for it? CoD4 has great online and i wont be able to play it till next month. Is r6v2 just as good online? or should i just keep my cod4?

Is strangehold worth getting? I really like the look of all the slow motion dives etc. Also i have seen the film Hard Boiled so the storyline will make sense.
Worth getting?
