I think I'm going to pick up uncharted. I still haven't played it and it looks really good...

I need some advise, what should I get tomorrow, Valkyria Chronicles or Resistance 2

Resistance 2 is a must for all FPS lover's...
graphics are amazing,
gameplay is amazing.

i preorderd mine and picked mine up last night.... and wow you get 400+ of playing time that show's how much stuff there is to do..

(the 400+ is lvl'ing all 3 classes to 30, beating whole game i forgot what difficulties, getting all trophies, all intel, and medals and stuff like that)

but those are my opinions' i know many people dissagree on the graphics but they don't know what there talking about.

pre order killzone 2 that's going to be a must also

fallout3? littlebigplanet? farcry 2? or they a must or jus games to get by... i really am not sure... im definately going to rent lbp becuz no matter what id have to see what that game has to offer before id buy it.. and fallout3 looked good but doesnt look as crazy as it seems to be.. and far cry could be goodd...but seems a bit avg.. IM NOT SURE THO.. someone help pleasee

If you care about RPGs or PS3 exclusives at all you should get Valkyria.
Not only is it an incredible game, it's a third party exclusive, a rarity these days, and an RPG, which PS3 is starved for, it'll show developers there's a market for RPGs on PS3

I got R2 because I didn't have a choice


I went to my EBgames and the store manager say to me there a law in Quebec that you need french instruction and french on the back of the game, if not they can't sell it

which mean I can't have my Valkyria Chronicle (delay or not coming to Quebec at all)

Ok,the ones on your list, i would recommend LBP, MGS4, Uncharted, The orange box, Warhawk if you have internet... Im not so sure about the others, personally i wouldnt get the others such as Resistance, NGS, NHL and all that stuff. I would also recommend COD4 which isnt on your list.. i know 5 is coming out soon but 4 is set in modern times and its one of the best games i have played ever. the MP is superb. i have spent 6 actual days on MP alone and its definently worth a purchase.

MGS4 is a must if you've ever played any other MGS before. That's the only game I truly "endorse" regardless of what type of gamer you are.

Since my financial situation has recently changed, i'm going to have to make a very difficult decision soon. I really want to get Little Big Planet, Resistance 2 and Motorstorm:Pacific Rift. I am hyped for all 3 but for the time being i will only be able to afford to get one and will have to wait til christmas for the other two. I am seriously torn. In your opinion, which one should i get?

newbie here.. always been a PC person in the past, so first game machine i've owned...
I'd like to have 1 game for every sortta 'genre' before getting too many of the same type..

I bought CoD4 immediately, as well as GT5, thinking they would be great.. and i think they are..

now, can i get opinions on a couple other areas:
( let me know offline versus online too - I prefer playing offline with a bunch of buddies, so multi player offline games are my preference.. but i am online too)

1. Hockey (i've always went with EA in the past, but opinions?)
2. Soccer (i've always went with FIFA WC releases...)
3. Football (i've only had Madden in the past)
4. more fun, less simulation style driving? GT5 is great, but i'm thinking crazy unrealistic, wild driving...etc. just fun shizzzit. maybe GTA?)
5. flying game?
6. maybe basketball
7. Baseball
8. hand combat (ie. street fighter, mortal combat, WWF..)

I see lots of other FPS games recommended, but knowing i have CoD4, let me know if it's stull worth getting another one for any specific reasons..

try Motorstorm and Wipeout HD, very fun games and I'd say they'll give you what you're looking for

Hmm I guess it depends on what type of game you feel like playing the most. At the moment I mainly want a racing game so I would get Pacific Rift, but if you feel you'd rather have an FPS or Platforming game then you could get one of the other 2. I think it's only about 50 days to christmas as well so you could choose the game you think is going to last long enough til crimbo comes around!

Do you and your friend enjoy racing games? Theres quite a few good racing games like Race Driver: Grid, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, Burnout Paradise w/ downloadable content for bikes and special cars, Midnight Club Lose Angeles, Grand Turismo 5, WipEout HD on the playstation store and theres probably some more i missed.
