What does everyone think of Heavenly Sword? Is it worth the 30 bucks new? Is it just a GOW type game but with a girl and a sword that's apparently heavenly?

You haven't played ME1 have you? Well, if you had, there wouldn't have been much questions about it. I seriously think you should play ME1 first and then go to the sequel. You'll enjoy it ten times more.

From the other two, I'd say go for Darksiders.

Firstly there is no ME1 for ps3, but you get an interactive comic explaining all the story + dlc in the ps3 ME2. Secondly I have never been a fan of sci fi. I just wanted to play it as it one of the most critically acclaimed games out there.

I guess its time to witness the end for Kratos' story

Definitely not worth $30 since it is a very old game. I would honestly say rent it. Very short but still a good game. I think I finished it at around 6 hours or so. You could rent it for a day or two if you could find it and be done with it. Otherwise buy it used. Not worth $30 imo.

Yes, I know that. That's why I made a suggestion outside ME2 because it would be unlikely that you'll be able to ME1.

Don't get me wrong. It was a good game but it is just not enough content for me to justify spending $30 on it. Hell sign up for a trial of Gamefly rent it, beat it, and then cancel the trial. Can get the first month for free so you aren't out a dime.

Easily one of the best games this gen for me. If you enjoy gta games then chances are you'll like it. The story is MILES better than any other rockstar game I've played, and has one of the most 'believable and lively' characters. The world is also amazing. So much to do. I also bought the undead nightmare dlc, but now it comes with the GOTY edition I think.
I have spent 28 hours into the game, about 10 hours in undead nightmare. And I still have things to do in both.

Bottom line you can't go wrong with this one.

The question isn't whether Red Dead Redemption is pretty good. It's whether we're worthy of playing Red Dead Redemption.

If you liked previous Battlefield games: Yes.
If you're looking for a worthy campaign: No.

Seriously, the campaign is just... bad. The multiplayer is amazing though.

It's worth buying yeh mainly for the online, although the campaign does have some good bits. If your after a decent FPS campaign I'd recommend Medal of Honor

@Locomotive: I've only had brief encounters with Yakuza, and I wouldn't call it a Japanese GTA. From what I remember it was rather fun, but I'd look up some videos and the like to make sure it's the kind of game you're into.

Yakuza is not a japanese GTA at all. It's very story driven and has quite a lot of cut scenes. I never finished but it was a decent game.

Hello PSU,

I'm in a bit of a puzzle here - I'll be 16 soon and wanting to buy 2 new games and 1 old but got to choose.
I ordered Dead Island, L.A Noire and NFL 12 already but choosing between FIFA Street, Syndicate or GTA Complete.

If you don't mind putting your suggestions forward that would be great - and this tread can be on-going from here too.
