Umm, no it wont..

Spiderman 3 the game will release around the same time as Spiderman 3 the movie, which has a planned release in May of 2007, which will also probably be pushed back.

No doubt it will be on the PS3, man that would be so awesome!! just imagine the graphics of the whole city, even the outskirts, the physics would rock!. I can just imagine crowching on the edge of a huge tall building at night, the surround sound full, the wind blowing, cars beeping their horns, arguments of people on the streets, conversations, leaves blowing past.

Then all of a sudden your spider senses tingle, and you have to go do somthing spidey like , I would also like cameos from Daredevil, Black Cat, some X-Men, and others in the game. Another cool feature would be that if you looked in the distance, by chance, you may even see Daredevil taking care of buisness, running along rooftops and such, man this game would be very awesome if they do it right, which im sure they will, they made spiderman 2 pretty good.

As you can see im a pretty big spiderman fan lol always have been, hes my fav of all the MARVEL heros, hes basicly the most famous, and hes they one where most of the other heros came through by cameos, hes MARVELs mascot really, moreso than the xmen or the hulk and such, hes just spidey

I truely enjoyed Spiderman 2, the dynamics and the open ended city was a whole lot of fun. Although I'll admit I wanted to destroy the child with the baloon (%%^&&*^^ BRAT) I loved the rest of the game.

I hope they incorparate some of the new features from the latest Spiderman game (cell shaded...I forget the name) into it as well

Oh and the graphics and the physics...I can't wait

I would have to disagree with you and say that Superman is the most famous and also Marvel's mascot.

And Superman would make an excellent next gen game.

No idea which comic book he's from, but I'd rather see a good "Batman Begins" game. I could see it being made by the Splinter Cell team - same sort of graphics, same use of the darkness and sound, but also the implementation of fear in the enemy. Plus you'd get to glide, use the grappling hooks and drive the Batmobile

Batman and Superman are from DC comics,

Where as X-men, the incredible Hulk and Spiderman are from Marvel...

I believe that the 360 is getting a MArvel MMORPG and the PS3 a DC one...fairly certain I read that on IGN some where, shame as Marvel is my favorite by far.

Since Superman is on DC, then I would agree with saying that Spidey is the face of Marvel.

One thing that I like about Spiderman 2 is open ended city like GTA. I would like see that on PS3 and plus going into buildings.

i liked the swing physics in SM2 the best, it was so amazing falling and getting that feeling of speed while getting from one end of the city 2 another.

Buckeye I agree, there was a swoosh feeling in Spiderman, it owned every other game ever because of it... It just had a feeling that I got addicted to, I can't wait to play this game on PS3, I think I would definately buy it... could be great.

Usually the games are released before the movie to hype it, which is weird cause it ruins the story.

Yeah, Superman and Batman and all the ones like Captain America are owned by DC Comics, and none of them ever really appealed to me much, but a Superman game would be very fun.

But MARVEL characters are all just perfect for videogames, and Spiderman especially, because you have a whole lote of other characters to intergrate into the mix, like X-Men, The Hulk, Fantastic 4, Daredevil, Elektra, Silver Surfer, Iron Man and others.

In some way or another, each and every one of those characters have worked together in storylines and stuff, and they are all based around real areas, like New York and San Fransisco, so they have a good solid base of work, and they can have real events within the games for people to relate to.

And Spiderman is really the most vulnerable of all of them, hes just a kid, and he has more issues than each of them, because he has 3 lives to live, his life as Peter Parker, his life as a photographer for the Daily Bugle, and his most important one as Spiderman, meaning he relates to people alot more in real life, because hes not so much super human like other heros, he has problems too.

But yes, thats what sold me on spidey was he was the first Hero who had real life problems too...

ooh, I just had a great idea, inccorparate that in the game, like say you tell MJ you'll meet her at a specific part of NJ so you have to websling and use shortcuts while fighting the clock when all of a sudden...HELP I'M BEING ROBBED, so you have to swing down and save the girl and beat and web the baddies and STILL fight the clock... sounds fun

Then once you arrive you duck in the alley, change, and enjoy a cinema of you and MJ

LordJack that sounds exactly like half of the missions in Spiderman 2 haha. Don't get me wrong, I loved the game, but f*$% it got reptitive, the missions were always the same, let's see some more variety this time around, please!

Don't get me started on SM2 and it being repetitive, like I posted earlier I was ready to SLAY the little *&^& who kept losing his %&^% ballon

I'm not a huge fan of Spiderman m'afraid. I'll probably rent it to see if it's worth the cash. If you can kill the kid with the balloon from SM2, GOD SAVE HIM WHEN I PICK UP THAT GAME.

Yeah, the 2nd one was amazing fun though. I loved it. If they can reproduce new york on HD, then i'll be a happy customer!
