nothing is similar to photoshop (that I've had in my experience.) But I suppose their are ways to get it for free. Or unless your some code cracking wiss head, you should just buy the program.... which is a ***** to save for when you only have a part time job.

Paint Shop Pro has a free 30 day trial. That was the cloest I could think of.

Umm well you need to get your Torrent sites, Torrent downloaders, and P2P progs. in check...
Torrent Sites
- Torrentspy.com (still completely operational...I know)
piratebay.org
mininova.org
torrentreactor.com
isohunt.com
Torrent Downloaders
- Azureus (most popular)
BitComet
Bit Lord (the one I use to have but don't now
)
Bit Tornado
P2P Clients
- Kazaa
Kazaa Lite
Morpheus
WinMX
Limewire
Limewire Pro- (Used Bit Lord to torrent a P2P client
)
Bearshare
Then you have all the rest of the crappy programs NoUse listed :P"It's real hard to be free when you are bought and sold in the marketplace.

Of course, don't ever tell anybody that they're not free, 'cause then they're gonna
get real busy killin' and maimin' to prove to you that they are." ~Easy Rider (1969)

Alright, I was hoping i wouldn't have to bend the laws but i guess i'll have to. Oh yah and bear share is not very good. It may be fast but it sticks TONS of ads on ur pc. It's too much of a hassle for me. I'll stick with the others.

I was just siting the well known.
Bearshare also downloads spyware on your PC which then turn into viruses.
So stick with Kazaa Lite or Limewire."It's real hard to be free when you are bought and sold in the marketplace.

02-08-2006 #18yes they may not be the greatest but limewire is simple and easy and pain in someways but at least it doesnt install spyware and download things you dont want. but be carefull because it trys to upload movies if you rip them to pc with it on.So stick with Kazaa Lite or Limewire.

Wow, nobody said anything about the best free and open-source alternative:
The GIMP
That said, I prefer Paint Shop Pro to Photoshop."I am not altogether on anybody's side, because nobody is altogether on my side."

Not sure if I'm alone on this, but I find GIMP petty hard to use, especially with the way the layers work and the number of windows.

why don't you just download the trial version of CS2 and use a serial generator to unloack the full version.

I'm not sure since I've used it on Linux, but I have heard that the Windows version has some window problems. Still, it's some pretty good software that is truly free.
