should i buy a ps3 game or wait until 4/11 and get a dual shock 3 for GTAIV and of MGS4! any suggestion of any ps3 games that have been out? i was thinking about getting Oblivion. i need a long ps3 game that i can play for a long time. so if you know of any just suggest them to me. or just tell me to buy a dual shock 3 controller. because i do really need a 2nd one. p.s. dark sector doesn't look good to me.
P.S.
i got GTAIV and MGS4 both pre-ordered and fully paid off.

I wouldnt waste your money on Dark Sector to be honest.
Anyways, in regard to your question...if you want a game that will last you a long time then i highly suggest you keeping some money aside until April and then purchasing yourself GTA4. Then will have a large life span, and well..its GTA so it will be good fun! I have been debating whether or not to buy a DS3 but im going to leave it a while since so many good games are coming out. Oh and dont forget MGS4 in June!!

I'd buy a game. And Oblivion is an excellent choice IMO. If you into RPG's or free-roam games, it's a must buy.

First time i read your post, i missed the fact you have paid for MGS4 and GTA4 already. My mistake. Oblivion is a good game, and has a lot of content. The only downside is how repetitive the game is. Do you have a PSP? If so, iw ould recommend Crisis core over Oblivion.
What PS3 games do you own?

Well only get a 2nd controller if your first controller is not up to scratch and if you play with other people (eg.friends). Otherwise spend the money on a game.

I was in a similar situation (including the limited edition MGS4 and standard edition GTA IV) as you except I already had the DS3 controller. The games I was contemplating on getting are Burnout Paradise, The Orange Box, or Rock Band all of which have had my interest for a long while. In the end I opted for PSP games FF: Crisis Core, FF Tactics, and Disgaea. Those should keep me entertained for a long while. As for Oblivion, it is a very addictive game that if it grabs you will rack up dozens of hours easily. What genres of games do you prefer, and what games do you own?

Well, you seem to be a big MGS fan, so I'd say go with the DS3 since the MGS experience is always better with rumble - they always make the BEST use of rumble.

I would go with Oblivion, it will keep you busy until GTA IV is released.

i'll go with the DS3. i can get more money when i start working again. it's not the same with the sixaxis. it's weird how one little thing in a game makes it alot better

I think the DS3 would bring a way more exciting experience. Oblivion is fun but I would rather get the sweetness of a solid controller.

Games come before vibration for me... There aren't any games I want right now, but I also don't have the money to spend on controllers... I'm saving for MGS4...

Don't know if you have warhawk yet but it's cheap now and worth every penny. I bought it yesterday and can't stop playing it. I'll just play this until GTA4 comes out.
