For that to even be considered worth stickying, you would have to keep it updated to the X-treme!

Also, I think the reason is more about people not caring about console sales more than it is about being hard to maintain accurately.

It's already been strickied, and I update that and the PS3 sales thread whenever new tidbits come out. Also it's supposed to be a community effort, if a poster finds new sales info he posts it and I update the OP.

I was just saying why PS4L probably didn't want to, I couldn't give a hoot personally, for I:

1: Don't care about console sales.

2: And I don't live in the UK, so I care even less about their sales.

Worldwide, maybe, US, even less, UK? Why!?

Only fanboys and ignorant fools care about hardware sales IMO. No offense to anyone but it's completely pointless. I mean think about it, you have zero affiliation with that company so what's it to you?

That new sticky in the 360 section is going to turn in to a nightmare.....360 fans going nuts on estimated low figures and PS3 fans dancing for joy at estimated 360 low figures.....

And the 360 forum was turning over nicely as well.

We have one in the PS3 section and that went fine. BTW, we have official figures but not for the WHOLE of the PAL land. Mods will ban anyone who messes up.

I see why this can be considered and why some people are against it. But then again, not a lot of people really care about hardware sales unless it's people comparing each other's consoles. And those people are usually fanboys. But then again I do think this is a good idea for a thread. Just that I don't know people who actually care that much for sales figures other than fanboys. You seem to be getting some good reception in your thread. So, for now I don't think the thread is really a problem. And if the PS3 section has the same kind of thread and if it is stickied, then I don't see why this thread should not be stickied if its basically the exact same as the one in the PS3 section.
