Well once they are released I'm assuming it'll be kind of like the Resistance map packs....you purchase from the store, download and install........then it's game on.

What do you mean? Account as being bank account?

Some people say you need a credit card but I use a Visa Debit Card and works for me fine so I should imagine most or all debit cards will be fine even a Visa Electron, I dunno for sure if elecys work but worth a try if you got one if not borrow someones debit or credit card.

Memory stick? Have you ever downloaded anything from the store?

You download whatever you buy and it saves to the hard drive. You install it from there and you're done with it.

Yeah, when you buy something from the PS store, it gets downloaded right onto your ps3's hdd, so when you run the game, the add-ons work as well

Didn't work with my Maestro debit card (It kept saying there were errors etc..). Not sure what I was doing wrong seeing as it works everywhere else in the world, but it looks like I won't be able to buy anything from the PS Store any time soon.

Ok I just found this somewhere so it looks like you need a Visa card

am you sure its a debit card ?? i think you'll probably find its not.. debit cards come with a cheque book type account, uve probably just got a savings account

solo cards wont work, it need to be switch, mastercard, visa etc....

you get an issue number on a switch card

    EDIT

hey mate, you are wrong solo card from natwest works just fine, i use mine and im 15 . And you just leave the issue number blank.

and you are worng about cheque books I dont have one because im not old enough as this guy is the same and has the same account type as me,

natwest give out debit SOLO cards to nearly all customers of any age.

It's a debit card. I've got a cheque book. It's a student account. It's got an Issue Number etc.. but it just doesn't seem to be working. It works fine on play.com and amazon. Not sure what's going on here.

I use a SplashPlastic prepaid credit card. It is maestro and work fine. I think i may know what the problem is, are you entering an issue code/number? It is 3 or 4 numbers. If you are then that is your problem, you dont need to enter it for it to work on the Playstation Store.
