I have the black editions and no there not in colour only first few pages which are pieces of artwork, nothing to do with story.

Any of you Anime folks have any interest in some Laserdiscs? It came up on another board where we were talking about LDs, and I mentioned still having a player and 28 discs, and 6 of those are Anime. Not sure about the value and/or collectability, but figured I’d toss it out there:

Vampire Princess Miyu (Volume 1)
Robot Carnival
Ad Police (Volume 1, 2 And 3, single disc)
Area 88 Act 1
Area 88 Act 2
Area 88 Act 3

Just finished Eden of The East. Very good.
Will watch the movies aswell

99% of the time the manga is better and more indepth but anime brings it to life with the music and VA (I only ever watch with subs can't stand dubs), so ultimately, both.

So I just finished with the entire Eden of the East (movies aswell) and the series is one of the best. I watched the dubbed version and it was awesome. Great characters and overall very enjoyable.

Lately all dubs I've seen have been incredible

I've been wanting to watch that myself. So there is the (short) series and 2 movies is there? Are they prequels, sequels or set in between certain eps?

The short series starts off normally, both movies are just the conclusion to the anime. Definitely worth watching!.

It has some good humor but most of it was too extreme for my taste. You should keep watching, Baka and Test though(Admittedly it's corny as hell in many parts but the humor is great).

My interests vary but I'm hard to please. I'm the type who prefers, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star and Full Metal Alchemist over Bleach, Naruto and One Piece(Anime wise of course because I love the Naruto manga).

Baccano! It's my favorite. I'll reconsider Baka if you watch it lol.
