I agree, this should be an early '09 release imo.

Microsoft is in a strategic partnership with Kleenex which could result in next gen seeing a significant boost for the tissue manufacturer.

Why is this and Resident Evil 5 so slow to get out of the gates . Will this super long dev time improve the game that much ? It'd suck it these guys take this long to release it and when it hits its a disappoinment .
Lost interest after Resident Evil 2 and i only found Silent Hill 1 entertaining . I guess time will tell if this turns out good or not but it might also count against this series . People will long forget about this title the longer they take to release .

I love
horror games,in fact i have completed all the PS2 horror games except silent hills..i was never able to get into a silent hill game, even though i tried hard to like them...And from the pictures it seems like they didn't even bother to change their engine it looks like its from a PS2 and if we compare it with resident evil 5 Gfx wise its like night and day.
Good "night" my baby...i will always remember you.I love you.

I hope not. I want to try it on my 360.
I still don't have a PS3. Waiting for a couple good games to come out before buying it.

The article seems to have been written by somebody who never liked the series, or perhaps never even played them. Saying that Pyramidhead was in Silent Hill III is a dead giveaway to the ignorance.
Other than that, still sound very iffy, the westernization of the series is a bit uncomforting, to me. But some of the gameplay elements, such as the stuff with light, sound very interesting. I'm keeping my eye on this one...
