Bwaha, I was little bit earlier \o/ About I-8s new name, while I did like I-8 alot, Resistance is good too.
And God of War 2 should be coming to PS2, God of War 3 should be coming to PS3.

I think god of war and Socom will appear both on PS2 and PS3 simultaneously.

sorry jumped the gun a little bit there, socom4 and gods of war 2 are indeed ps2 titles but there are indeed ps3 versions of these titles in development which are said to look gorgeous

this is GREAT news, grrrrreeaat.
also i like the name I-8 much better than resistance, resistance may give a new insight on the game. what if the forces you were fighting with is the resistance fighting against german looking things? anyway....

Notre that they said georgeus looking SOCOM, that ould mean a much much better looking game than the real-time videos we have been seing (even though i doubt it can be any better :P )

I don't know... David Jaffe seemed pretty much against a God of War 2 sequel, but if Sony forces him, maybe. BUt isn't it a bit too early? He's focusing on his PSP game.

Resistence sounds great. I just hope it has more then one gun they showed in the E3 video. It only showed the person with one gun on every clip of the video. No doubt they'll have more, but it doesnt seem to go deep in how much will be available. I always thought that the PS3 will get God of War 2. Why would Sony put a AAA title on the PS2 when the next gen battle has already started. I know many of you believe next gen doesn't start until the PS3 hits the market, but its already begun with the 360. Its just not that impressive. A huge online multiplayer Socom? maybe an MMO? probably not but it is possible. That would be awesome thou. Think of the battles. It would be like actual current day warfare.

I-8 was simply a codename for Insomniac's 8th game

Check the thread in the 360 section on huxley, the game is like a MMORPG/ MMOFPS.

This is great news! Resistance is a good name, can't wait to get more info on that and the God of War sequel. And just because David Jaffe hasn't said anything about it doesn't mean that it can't be in development already, he may have nothing to do with it, or he may be overseeing it and keeping it under wraps. But I don't think we'll get any more info from him any time soon, as his most recent post on his journal says that's he's calling it quits on any more updates on there. Too many gaming news sites are looking and I think he might have gotten told to keep his comments to a minimum (but that's just my speculation).

I'd love to see and play God of War on PS3. Maybe on of the titles that really (I mean really) interests me on Sony's console.

I can imagine a full revealing of God of War and Socom at E3, which would be really sweet. I shall also say that I'm NOT excited about KillZone 2, I dunno why but I've got the strong feeling that the game will stink and that some other PS3 shooter will steal its thunder.

God of War on PS3 i'm certain will kick some major ass. And from hanging out on the official Playstation forums where you can actually chat with the Guerilla Devs.....we could be in for a real treat for next-gen Killzone. They drop clues left and right on how the development process is coming along, and i've been getting a positive vibe from it.
