THE RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS. Love that band to pieces John Frusciante is one of the top 10 guitarists ever, and FLEA IS the best Bass guitarist to live. My next would be either Radiohead or Audioslave, Chris Cornell and Yorke both have amazing voices.

Chris Cornell is one of the best singers around. I loved him in audioslave and on the James Bond theme " You know my name"

He was amazing in the bands first album Audioslave, I wonder what happened in Out of Excile and Revelations though....he kinda went "soft" which is why the band broke....
I don't mind now that Rage Against the Machine is on tour. How i wish i could go to one of their concerts....

Tough choice for me because I can't decide between Sonic Syndicate and In Flames.

Audioslave didn't break up because Cornell "went soft." Cornell left for a few reasons; one being personality conflicts, probably with Tom Morello, another because
Also, Cornell said,"Chris was unhappy with the financial arrangement within the group."It also didn't help that one of the band members, again probably Tom Morello, rearranged atleast one song on 'Revelations' without Cornell's knowledge."I was tired of what ended up seeming like political negotiations toward how we were gonna do Audioslave business and getting nowhere with it."

My favourite band has had an interesting history, it changes every year or 2 as I get bored of the catalogue and voice/sound.
Nirvana, pearl jam, manic street preachers, elliott smith, harvey danger, tool, radiohead, the beatles - they've all been my favourite bands in the past. But at the minute, and for the past year or more, there has only been one band that comes close, and for 5 months, the only band on my mp3 player (mostly because I only listen to music when running, and there's just one band that increases my energy levels like this).
BAD RELIGION!
The passion of the singing and lyrics, just really inspire and thrill me. This is my favourite song atm.
I noticed this yesterday in one of their songs that is quite prescient!

TOOL by a long shot.
But...you say Maynard as the god? Oh yeah, Maynard's awesome, but Justin Chanchellor is the best bassist I know. And Danny Carey is pure genius; for example listen to Ticks and Leeches; he basically composes and melodizes the piece with his drums. Now that's some ****!

I don't really have a favorite band cause I like to many.
Anyways, some of my favorite bands are The Offspring, Linkin Park, Guns N Roses, Faber Drive, The Eagles and I'll probably get bashed for this one but oh well, Fall Out Boy.

OASIS
They are the greatest band ever, I mean people say they are worse than when they started but they aren't people just expcet anoother Wonderwall. When listen to the songs and i mean really properly listen they are as good as ever.
I pretty much grew up listening to Oasis.
