Firmware 3.0 screens spotted ?!

For info: As you can see on the images, the email and GPS client has been added to the bar. Additionionaly, the GTA exploit has been fixed.
According to the german "PSP-News" site the photos are from an "unknown Sony insider".

You know what strikes me, if these screens turn out to be real than what about the rumor that the firmware 3.0 may come out right with the PS3?
Maybe this is a good indication that the PS3 arrival is not that far away anymore...

Very nice find, its difficult to say when the firmware will be released now. You said you can see the e-mail and the GPS added to the bar. Well...in the first image... to the right of the video I see and emtpy square with a little antenna looking thing in the upper right hand corner. The next one to the right is the same square, same antenna, but in the square looks like two "oo". And in the one to the right of that is the same square, same antenna, but in the the middle it looks like "CB". And the one to the right of that is a square with an arrow pointing from left to right. I do NOT see anything in those images that has to do with e-mail or GPS. If someones sees something that does, please correct me. Also, notice in the first picture how much battery he is running on....VERY little.

what mag was that, I also look forward to the next update and how it will work with my psp. I just hope they do it soon.

I do NOT see anything in those images that has to do with e-mail or GPS.

In the german news its written:

"You can see on these pictures that the Email and GPS client are included. Furthermore the GTA exploit has been fixed."

So i assume this info is from the Sony insider as the is no way that the site could know by themself about the GTA fix.

This was in this issues PSM, where they discussed the applications the PSP will be able to do with the PS3. I'm pretty sure that's a screenshot of that.

gta exploit fixed? that makes no sense , its something in the game its self that lets you do homebrew....
anyway if it really does prevent me from doing homebrew thin i will not update no matter what

Those images in the first post are a fake, you can tell because of irregular sharpness of some of the images. Trust me, I'm used to fakes.

There's also another batch of fakes, although, this one seems more legit, but I'm still not sure.

What are you talking about? The first pictures depicting a 3.0 firmawre is 1. Spoofed 2. Abnormally sharp images. These ones seem a bit more legit, but I don't know to be exact.

I like the look of the pspupdates link that Zero_ has given and it also shows the PS3 logo

Looks good all round to me and with the PS3 logo being there it says a WW launch is possible.

ok, so beside wuts bein shown in these pics, wut else will the next update have with it? i personally think that they need 2 fix the music menu. with the 4 gig hdd 4 the psp, many people will want lots of music. sumthing like an ipod layout wold b nice...

I don't know what up. I tried to use the img](link to pic)[/img And it wouldn't work. So I removed the [img] crap and tired to keep it teh same, but now the links wont work for me.

EDIT: I put a space in between each picture and it worked. Tell me what you guys/girls think about the new pictures!

RE to the first post:
The Sony insider mentions that the GPS client has been added to the XML bar.

Now this could be a concrete hint on PSP's future GPS functionality...
Have an eye on the emphasized logo that has a logical connection to the message...
Refering to this ad, it's the globe logo which would make sense talking about GPS functionality. Also the message makes sense...

Here the other ads of the same ad campaign.

In this ad the celluloid is highlited as the logo for the video functionality of the PSP...

In this one it's the camera logo that stands for viewing photos...
