Depends what format the video is in, the PS3 only supports these video formats:
- Memory Stick Video Format
- - MPEG-4 SP (AAC LC)
- - H.264/MPEG-4 AVC Main Profile (AAC LC)
- MP4 file format
- - H.264/MPEG-4 AVC High Profile (AAC LC)
- MPEG-1 (MPEG Audio Layer 2)
- MPEG-2 PS (MPEG2 Audio Layer 2, AAC LC, AC3(Dolby Digital), LPCM)
- MPEG-2 TS (MPEG2 Audio Layer 2)
- AVI (DivX/XviD)
- - Motion JPEG (Linear PCM)
- - Motion JPEG (μ-Law)
- AVCHD (.m2ts / .mts)
- VC-1 (WMV)

Well, if you're putting the video onto a memory stick, you have to create a folder in the memory stick called VIDEO
Just put the video in this folder and the PS3 should recognise it (assuming that its a playable format.)

i would look into a better video converter such as allok video to mp4, or apex video converter super.... i get very good quality from these two, and if you want to become really good at converting videos go to doom9.net (or .org idk) they have conversion guides for almost every format....
Sometimes I like to pretend that I'm pro.
