I wont be on as much the next couple of weeks. Why you ask? Because my mom cancelled the credit card that we are using for our internet service, thus I can only talk from school. She wants to get DSL so we'll see how that works out but if we dont do that I guess we'll just stick to 56K...sigh.Anyways, dont worry I havent run off but I wont be around as much.

Expecting the PS3 to reach $500
By: Justin Pinter
New York (CNNMoney.com) is now speculating, along with other analysts, that the Sony Playstation 3 will release wth a $500 price tag.
Although Sony hasn't come out and announced the pricing figures, SCE president, Ken Kutaragi stated,"it'll be expensive."
A.T.R.'s (American Technology Research) P.J. McNealy in a note to cliens on Monday said, "[Sony] could now consider launching its PS3 at a price range of $399 to $499, with the $499 price point more likely."
The biggest thing pushing the $500 price tag is the fact that Sony includes Blu-Ray technology. Seeing as how the other Blu-ray players shown at CES reached prices of around $1,800.
Game developers have also speculated that the PS3 will launch around $500, maybe more. Developers also agree that the system will most likely beat the highest price package of the Xbox360 which could sway either good or bad for Sony.
Until Sony announces their final specs, everything is speculation. From what Sony has said, we should probably hear everything at least by E3 2006.
