    PGR3 rumoured OurColony.net PIC!!!

Looks sweet and it either has to be a NFS game or PGR3 but seeing that its Microsoft site its more then likely PGR3. I cant tell if its CGI or if its actual game graphics but if thats actual game graphics sign me up right now!!

You can't see if that's a render or in-game graphics?

Hmm, may I direct your attention to the wheel and the motion blur. Do you see motion blur anywhere else in the image? No, and that makes it a render.

oh just wait until sony starts the hype machine. they are no different.
sony has a year yet to get things rolling and it seems like they will be starting their hype on an earlier timescale.

btw, whats more intriguing about the picture is when it was put into a hex editor.

the car is clearly the Ferrari 360 Modena but it was an interesting choice

yeah i know.. most racing games now have camera feature.. where you can take pictures of your car while its being replayed.. that would be nice as hell if it was in game car.

Actually, we don't know what it is yet. MS has not stated what it is and has not shown the game itself publically yet for people to be able to say.

hmm i dont think its a cinematic. wouldnt make much sense to leak a CGI shot.
i think its either a realtime render touched up (like the hex name says it is) running in video mode, meaning like a playback video from GT4.

    or

its a realtime render touched up in playable game mode.

its entirely possible that its from game mode. with the power thats being talked about from both the PS3 and the Xbox360, i wouldnt expect much less.

Some people have been investigating the touched up part. What they are finding is a #3 in the image and part of what appears to be the new Xbox logo.

WOW that is crazy.. Is there any way someone can blow it up so we can get a better look...

Another excellent "psychological marketing" technique that M$ is using, boy oh boy Sony is gonna really have to fight for this one.

that image was originally posted as 4 seperate puzzle pieces then re-posted as the one you see above. The 4 seperate puzzle pieces when combined has a #3 in lights reflecting off the car.

In the image above, if you look just below the headlight you will see a bright white light that looks cut off, that is where the edit was done. If you look kitty-corner to the long verticle white light you can see a half circle with half of an "X" in the center of it.

Ummm... what is it we're seeing here exactly?? Is there something important there that I don't see??

I'm not seeing any of this 360 stuff... even with Siren's directions... anyone willing to mark it out in photoshop or something for those of us who are apparently blind?

Umm... you're kidding me right? That's the kinda stretch that puts stretch Armstrong to shame. What makes everyone so sure that faint X has ANYTHING to do with the Xbox360 logo?? I think everyone's trying too hard... or am I really THAT blind?? Which is entirely possible, since it doesn't make much sense to cover up nothing right? Maybe an in game Xbox360 billboard?? Still though, seems kinda unlikely... besides, why not choose from quite possibly infinitely other possible images to replace that one? You know, like one without the Xbox360 logo.

That said what's the black and white image got to do with the X? It's a different part of the car, no?

If you invert the colors on that main pic you can see the obvious coverup.

I can see the cover up quite clearly. I'm long past that, what I'm talking about is what's underneath... I find that it's the Xbox360 logo underneath to be a stretch.

Most definately could be a stretch, but the question is, what are they covering up, how can we determine what it is, and why are they covering it up?

Well, honestly, I think it could be nothing... maybe, just a gimmick to make people take a hard long look at the car and say wow, it's like the real thing.

If you look at the 2nd air scoop closest to the wheel, the same area as the black and white picture above, the exact same area is reflected there as the cover up... though obviously more distorted, and I see nothing that would indicate a sign or billboard or something... and I doubt the Xbox360 image would just hover in space. Anyway, the point is the same image that's hidden is there an in the 1st one too, but that's beyond any hope of gleaning information.

they dont hide images to make sense. if you ever went to ilovebees when it was up or have visited ourcolony in the last couple days, the whole site doesnt make any sense. the other day richard simmons picture replaced the Ant button that you click on to enter the site. And before that a linux penguine would popup every so often.

the whole site doesnt make sense, to make those who are participating think everything could be a clue to the questions they ask that reveal more xbox360 stuff. its now being thought that the rewards we get such as that picture will be connected to anouther picture for a later question.

its assumed right now that the prize for figuring these things out at the end is the locations of where the Xbox360 events are going to be on May 12th.

Agreed about the places things probably. But they might be trying to do something completely different, never know with this kind of thing.

There is always a reason that they do something though, they only do things to confuse people so that the less easily recognizable stuff, like the editing here, might get by under the radar. So, judging by the amount of obvious work that was spent fixing this picture to hide something, it's safe to say that it was something important.

Of course i doubt we will find out what it is....
