crash bandicoot: mind over mutant clip

i've just found this clip whilst looking around on gametrailers. the game is being developed by sierra and looks to have changed a few things (most notably, stealing the spin idea from sonic the hedgehog)

Yeah, for some reason Sierra doesn't release these Crash games on the PS3, weird since it was the original home for the game, now the latest console doesn't even see it. This is only coming out for PS2, X360, Wii, and DS.

Looks like a cross between Banjo Kazooie and Sonic the Hedgehog. I know I'm not worried about it not coming to PS3.

Meh.. Ever since Naughty Dog stopped making Crash Bandicoot it kinda went downhill imo. The PS3 won't be missing out on anything, R&C owns these newer Crash games.

I was never a fan, but this trailer didn't excite me much. The sonic trailer excited me much more than this.

i personally think thet the first 2 maybe 3 crashes were the best this new one is weird like its kewl riding these things for the first bit but hten later on in the game you find your self riding them more than walking and you dont even have to do any thing when your not on them because you can just sit in one spot and spin for ever and why did they take out the levels were you had to run away from some thing and doge all those obsticle? i much prefer the old one rather than the new ones

The 2nd and 3rd ones were GREAT games back in the day, but the rest... eh.

exactly the new one is ok for the wII just because you dont have to us any sticks for aiming which is nice but any thing else especially the psp its just plain bad

ill have to hook him up with the good ones cuz thats just sad if youve never played them i reamember when i was younger and i had just got my ps1 and i would sit their for hours playing crash i was so exited when the second one came out and the same with the third so i was exited to hear about crash of the titans but was very very disapointed

They moved on to make new characters for new consoles. With the PS2 they sold off Crash and created Jak and Daxter, who are leagues funnier and more bad ass than Crash ever could have been. With the PS3 they created their new IP in the form of Nathan Drake in Uncharted, but after seeing what Sierra has done to Crash they did not want the same thing to happen to Jak and Daxter. I can't wait to see what Lost Frontier will look like.

Sierra is the graveyard of great games. Games that were real great tend to be crap once Sierra has creative rights. Really, I've only seen one good game come from Sierra studios and that was Shivers. But despite how great Shivers was, its sales were abysmal and the game fell off the face of the planet.
