Get real man. All of us can say the same thing about you. The fact is, Chief was not being biased. He brought up a good point. Although he is a Sony fan, that does not mean that his opinion should automatically be discredited.
However, I do see your point. I mean, I discredit your posts all the time. Wait...nevermind. It's not because you're a 360 fan. It's because you're posts (like the ones in this very thread) are simply "good entertainment. They help us get through the day."While your statement does speak the truth, it's completely irrelevant.
Tell me, how is the PS3's [lack of] in-game XMB relevant to his point? He simply said that the feature should have been there already, especially for a system that prides itself on community features. In the same manner, people can (and do) say that the PS3's in-game XMB should have been there already.
So why can people say that in-game XMB needs to be implemented, and not say that 360 chatting needs to be implemented? Just because one is more important than the other? Talk about a double standard.
Basically, you're saying we should no longer bother wanting any features that are of less importance than in-game XMB until in-game XMB is implemented.

check my post history since you have the time to post smart comments, am not satisfied with having to quit a game just to read a msg or send one(the same can be said for anyone who owns the system too). but theres just this mentality 360 owners have(not you just saying 95% of them on this forums)...its sad really

Well, there is no clan support rumoured, which is a big bad sad smiley for me.

MS can't add clan support or increase the 100 player limit (or so they claim) due to the compatibility issues with original Xbox games. major Nelson did a podcast after the lst update to explain this. They did the Friends of Friends thing last update as a workaround.
Don't count on universal clan support with the 360.

Contrast that with Sony, that says they'll give you everything, but still has given nothing. I'd rather have a company that listens and gives us what we want, rather than a company that gives us nothing that we want but forces us with what we dont want.
Anyways this list looks amazing... hopefully it'll come true.

You missed my point. I was not questioning the worth of multichat. I acknowledged that it was not as important as in-game XMB.
What I was trying to say was this:
Just because a rival platform is missing a more important feature does not mean that any and all lesser important missing features on the other platform should be deemed unimportant.
It works like this:
PS3 fan: The 360 doesn't have multichat.
360 fan: The PS3 doesn't have in-game XMB, and in-game XMB is more important.
PS3 fan: True. But the PS3 not having in-game XMB doesn't magically make it OK for the 360 to continue to not have multichat.60GB PS3 on 11/17/06

I must be the only person who doesn't want multi-private chat, at least in-game. I get annoyed enough when only two people on my team are in private chat. Makes team work impossible....

They are finally adding the ability for the user to remove their card information. I say that is about time they did that.
You make a good point. It is better to have a company that listens compared to one that doesn't and doesn't force us with things we don't want. Things like....a proprietary hdd, proprietary memory card (for transferring things), restricted DRM technology, extra kit for rechargeable batteries....oh wait......that's not Sony.
If you can tell me with a straight face that you would rather have a proprietary hdd that would cost you more rather than pick the size you want for cheaper by having the HDD be non-proprietary.
You have to give credit where it is due. Sony did include blu-ray inside the PS3 (which by the way paid off). Some of you weren't certain of its success and felt it was being forced on ya.....well not really since you don't have to buy the PS3....right? Anyway....Sony made the PS3 an open platform, which is more choice for the user and the best way to listen or meet the needs of your userbase.

And you sir have identified the CORE problem with most of these threads. People who have no vested interest or need to comment on these topics, come in to spread hate and FUD.
It happens all the freakin time. It should be a one week ban for someone to admit to not having a console, then bashing it.

yeah, I see those "dual" console owners trash each. Sometimes I wonder how many of them actually own a console to begin with and are just here to cause problems! Maybe it should be a requirement to post in a PS3 or XBOX section to post your gamertag or PSN ID on your profile.
On topic: I am hoping that list is pretty accurate as there are some gems!

And sadly, at one point in time or another we all fall into the trap!
Just frustrating when you come to a gaming forum and the only things you see are hate threads, financial threads, and console wars.
Oh well. Sorry, I seem to have derailed the thread enough!
Since i have forgotten, and don't want to re-read the thread, is there a target date for the update?
