Who here knows the PS3insider Boards? In case you guys did'nt know the PS3i Mods use the Linux Penguins as Avatars, so when I stumbled across this pic:



I burst out laughing. No offense any PS3i Mods. Just thought it would be comical to use this as my avi on your forum.

Ha! didn’t go down too well over at PS3i at first but thanks to a little support from Klawhamer (where's he gone! lol) and Gaming Ultima the PS3i Mods took it okay, just that Omega Blue guy didn't take too it too well. You can read the attempt at humour here:

Hehe, yep for sure. There not all bad, I think if Omega Blue started posting here I'd get annoyed with him pretty quick. I'm sure he's alright in real life though

nah omega is alright, he gets angry alot because he has some Latin blood in him and he grew up in a not 2 good area i think
and the ppl at ps3i didn’t like it because they thought that u were advertising this site, u still can u just gotta know a few rules for instance i advertise this site on their though my sig
anyway they didn’t take it that badly as they seem to have done once u know them, and Scott found it very funny

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe's annual developer conference will this year focus on the PlayStation 3.

Called DevStation, the event will be held on 1st and 2nd March in London, at the Atlantis Gallery.

There will be a number of presentations, covering many aspects of PlayStation 3 development.

Some of the highlights include Cell (the multi-core processor), Graphics and Networking. Interestingly, third-party presentations will also be made, by the likes of Epic, the creators of Unreal Tournament.

The positive side to this is that progress is being made and developers are receiving support for PlayStation 3. However, this does seem a little late for a developer conference. This could suggest a much later launch date for Europe, and therefore "Spring 2006" could be off the cards.

Intriguingly, one of the speakers is Mike Kavallierou. Mike has returned to SCEE after spending two and a half years working on Xbox Live. He will be speaking about PS3 networking.

A number of key events are approaching, in particular the PlayStation Conference in February. This could be the final opportunity for Sony to reveal more about the PS3 before the Spring 2006 launch window.
