Lol, I've been wondering the same thing. What's funny is that I haven't been using the forums near as much since the loss of skill points. I want to buy the rest of my icons....oh well.

The only person who could have made more points than me during that time is a Mod. SMC section gives 10 points per post and I post in there like a mad man. The only reason I say a Mod could have more is because for all I know, there's some Mod who posts like 100 times a day in the Mod section.

I have no idea how many points I would've earned had the system been up, nor can I be bothered to go back through hundreds of posts just to work it all out. I know I'd have quite a few, though, it seems the majority of my posts have been in the PS3 sections, closely followed by General Chit-Chat. I still think that Rebon and Seb should do us all a favour and work it all out for us, then give us the points we would've earned.

Ya, I agree, who cares. We all lose so it really doesn't matter. It would be a pretty big pain in the ass to do all the research and then think of a fair system to compensate. Even if they did come up with something, not everyone would be happy, so screw it. Turn it back on and we all forget it ever happened within a week.

actually i care because i want to get that darn custom title and cant do that without SP and i want some new icons, and might want a new sig and need

and im sure im not the only one, its been a long time so when are we going to get it back just please dont do a sony and do a "soon" "soon" statement all the time

Don't get me wrong, I want it back, for the same reasons as you. But, I don't think they need to worry about the points that were missed while it was down.

They're just points on the internet. They don't actually mean anything. I gave over 45,000 (all at the time) of mine away when I left the forums over a year ago. It's honestly nothing more than a few minutes worth of patting yourself on the back.

Well the Donate stuff still works - and you can still buy icons with existing points.. but yes, it would be nice to go back to earning points for posts again.

I do like the idea of icons for games. Nice to have the Shop fully working again too, so Clerks can make new game additions.

I just wish they'd get the site up to par already, I stopped posting as often with the hopes that when I do finally come back to see what's going on everything would be fixed, but it doesn't look like it's a priority. It's to bad the site can't be sold to someone who can keep it maintained properly.

I'm just stating how the removal of the feature has affected me, personally. I know full well that the forum, as a whole, is being affected by the lack of skill points. As for how many I have, well, how exactly do you work out how many you have?
