I got a platronics 655 BT headset that pairs up and everything, but no sound..
It works fine on my phone, some other users say it works great, and some have the same issue as me.
any ideas? thanks

Please guys ive looked everywhere for help. My sony blue tooth that came with socom, and has always worked fine has gone ******ed on me. I was starting up cod5 and reached up, held the powerbutton to turn it off( Yes i said off) Instead of the little musical tones it just went neeeeeeeeeeeeh. Now it wont turn off and it is still flashing 2 days later (red light, green light, red green red green). Ive tried all i can think of including deleting it from the device list, and holding the volume button for a few hours to kill the battery. It wont die! Is there a certain button combo i can hold or press to reset it since it doesn't have a reset button like it should. Please guys you're my last hope as ive lost the literature for this darn thing.

PS3 Official wireless headset does not fit my ear
Hi guys
I have a little problem with the official PS3 wireless headset that I recently bought. It simply doesn't fit my ear and falls off very easily.
The kind of ear plugs that fits my ears have ear pads like from Sony:

Does anybody know how I can solve my problem?
Can I buy some kind of gadget/ear pads that attaches to the official and out to the type like in the image above?
Thank you.

I am going to buy the official Sony bluetooth headset. If I pair the device with the PS3 will the system instantly recognize the headset instantly every time it is turned on? Or do I need to detect and pair and modify settings every time I want to use it?

I'm not an expert, but I think you'll need something like this.

I have heard Turtle Beach makes some pretty good quality stuff.

Nope, your Ps3 headset is automatically detected once you turn it on.
As for me, it took me forever to find out how to actually get the Bluetooth to work. I had NO idea that you had to select it as the I/O audio device untill I came here. it says NOTHING on any instruction manual as to what to do, my assumption was that as soon as it's paired it's good to go. Guess not. Thanks for the write up, it helped me TONS.

So does any BT headset/earpiece work with the slim?

My headset broke the other night. I was adjusting it when the rotating hinge broke off *see pic its the piece in the middle that fits on the little peg and in the ear clip*
is there a way to fix it? (there's always old and trusty crazy glue)

Okay here is a question.
(I use headphones for my 360 but they plug in the audio cables before plugging into the TV)
I wanted to get some headphones for my PS3 but I can't seem to find any that work with HDMI.... Will someone point me in the right direction?
Does TB or Trition make any bluetooth gaming headphones?
