Father and Son- this will make you think

this song will definetly make you think about your relationship with your father
    and even your children.

sung by one of the best singers the world has ever seen:
    Cat Stevens

this song brought tears to my eyes

redone 25 years later with Ronan Keating ft. and Cat Stevens

I personally love this song, one of my favourite Cat Stevens songs of all time. Although in this version his vocals seemed a little different, maybe it was the video/audio quality, but I distinctively heard a rawer voice, if that was possible. Either that or it's just the late night doing it for me.

Thanks man, I really, really enjoyed that video. I've never seen that video, damn that's good for 1971. It doesn't really make me love my father even more, it just makes me appreciate the song a lot more. Better that than feeling nothing at all. xD

I'm sorry, but Ronan Keating may have the right intentions, but in my opinion he's destroyed that song. I couldn't bear to listen even halfway through.

Take a look at the lyrics to "Cats in the cradle", later covered by Ugly Kid Joe. Tis a very sad song which is unfortunately altogether common in modern society.
