Jaffe attacks Nintendo for insulting loyal fanbase

Gameindustry.biz Reports: God of War designer David Jaffe has launched an attack on Nintendo following the company's marketing director stating only "geeks and otaku" want more storage for the Wii.

Writing on his personal blog, Jaffe accuses Nintendo of snubbing its loyal fanbase for mainstream success, and says Laurent Fischer – who he incorrectly refers to as female – should be ashamed of his comments.

I bet you'd be lynched if you posted this in the wii section or at least the info about Nintendo snubbing its fanbase. I liked his comment that Nintendo is acting like the unpopular kid at school who all of a sudden gets a lot of attention and starts ignoring his "her" old friends.

Not to say I don't agree that Nintendo's sorta missing out not providing a hard drive, but Nintendo's not exactly ignoring or blowing off us oldschool folks.

Well, tbh...Nintendo shouldn't really insult people that have bought their console....although it isn't exactly the opinion of Nintendo either, just the Marketing Director, and no doubt he'll have to make an apology or something. Personally, i can't see Nintendo wanting to hurt anyones feelings...they're like the most friendly company evAr!
But yeah, that guy was just calling up what that guy said....which he shouldn't have.
