If you havent watched this in HDVD, you're in for a nice ride with the blu ray. Its the same port. But watching it in HD is sweet. The audio is great!!!!

Its definitely a must have Blu Ray.

Hey anyone know if the USB drive that has been featured on the FS and BB Canada site exist at all? I got my copy from Wal Mart today and no USB drive. I just looked at what someone scanned over a week ago and the back looks like mine. No indication of a USB drive. Clearly though on the FS and BB Canada site, their promo picture has it.

I don't know, my Dad is picking mine up at Best Buy so I'll see. If I get the USB and don't get any of the books I'll be pissed.

EDIT: Dad just phoned to make sure he got the right one. Blu-ray one does NOT come with the USB Stick. BB+FS somehow added it to the picture I would guess.

Ye checked on Amazon too, nothing. According to news posted in April, it was suppose to include a 128 MB flash drive with some pictures on it. I am going to look at FS/BB today and see if they have it.

Let me know what you got. Here is what was included with mine:

10$ coupon, art book, comic book and 5 posters.

    EDIT

Well like I posted, some sources were showing early in April it was suppose to come with one. Maybe a late production change or something.

I got the box set. Not really impressed with the image quality. Looks like the DVD I own. Its not bad or anything, just not as sharp as the other Blurays I have.

No USB, so FS+BB screwed up on that. The Prologue looks great in HD, so does the movie. Colors are better... it's just not as crisp as some of the other Blu-ray's I own such as Casino Royale and the Pirates trilogy.

that could be by design though...the PotC movies are filmed that way on purpose....check out "300" on BD...the visuals are stunning, but VERY grainy...on purpose...there are different styles...and BD allows us to finally see them at home!

i trust high-def digest when it comes to reviews and they gave video quality 4 1/2 out of 5...thats damn good...

get the blu ray version if you have a blu ray player

if not the new transfer on either disc should be good enough

    extras are great too

I loved this movie, and I have it on DVD. I probably won't pick it up on blu-ray, but I defiently will be getting The Dark Knight on Blu-ray when it comes out.

Ye could be the difference in admission price between Canada and USA. Up here it is like 12.50 a ticket but in the states its like, 10.

I wonder if I can use this for the IMAX showing. I am gonna try it tonight.

hey hey hey.. u guys aren't getting the USB stick? but that's going to be my main reason why i'm buying this box set. i already have like, 5 copies of Batman Begins.. one disc, two disc, australian copy, uk copy, us copy, so adding one more is just totally insane. but since i am an insane batman fan, i will. but still, no usb stick? and there's really not much difference between the bluray and the dvd copies?

are you watching in SD? lol...because i've watched the SD-DVD upscaled by the PS3 AND my upscaling DVD player multiple times...and the first second i popped the BD into my PS3 i was SHOCKED at how much better it looked...

Edit: Well i watched the whole film last night as well as the IMAX Prologue included on the disc...and my review is...

BRILLIANT...one of the best Blu-rays i own...the video quality is TOP notch...even in the darkest scenes the quality stays sharp and clear...there is very little loss of detail and its just great....maybe not as much HD "pop" as say the Pirates trilogy, but i think that was by design....the biggest thing that struck me was the color...when we think Batman you surely think dark, and lots of black...but the color in this movie is stunning...very rich, very deep colors...i loved it....

the sound was GREAT....it had my whole house rocking last night for sure...it has great deep bass, and its loud...but the best part i found is that the dialog is not hidden in the action sound at all...i didnt find myself turning the volume up or down at all to catch even the softest of dialog...it was great...

and the IMAX Dark Knight prologue was just superb as well...AWESOME picture quality...good sound...and a great little teaser for the new film as well...
