I feel stupid for not checking this much sooner but you can just sell all the stuff you don't need for gold and if you really want crafting materials you can buy them cheap and instantly on the auction house.
It doesn't make sense to salvage your items when you can sell em for 500 and buy the materials for 200
The only Problem is that you can't buy the books of blacksmithing.
You have to find them ingame but they drop pretty often.

Nobody knows that atm, it'll take a while to built an "economy".
As far as i can tell the Auction House is waaaayy overpriced at the moment.
Most people seem to think they can get 300k-900k gold for a HELL tier rare with decent stats when anyone can just craft rares himself
Even if i wanted to buy items there - i only have ~200k gold atm (i'll have to spend alot to built the infernal staff of herding)

How can you tell how much damage your spells have when you're a wizard?
....or just press on "I" and look to the left.
You can see your total DPS there.
However the spells themself do XXX% of that value (not shown in the game for whatever reason) - kinda lame that Blizzard "dumbed down" DIII so much.
Who else misses the Nercomancer?!
The WD has some "similar" moves but i would have prefered a new Necro tbh...
P.S. check out the Boneweaver Shield exploit once you get to HELL difficulty.

Below you'll find a list of hotfixes which address various gameplay and service issues affecting Diablo III. Hotfixes are updates we make on our end without requiring you to download a new patch. Some of the hotfixes below will go live the moment they are implemented, while others may require your realm to be restarted to go into effect. Players will now receive an error message when attempting to remove a gem from an item with no sockets
Players will now properly have their casting interrupted when attacked while performing resurrect on a fallen group member

Duration reduced from 2 seconds to 1 second (tooltip will still show 2 seconds)
Skill Rune - Lingering Fog
Now increases the duration of Smoke Screen to 1.5 (tooltip will still show 3 seconds)

Skill Rune - Boon of Protection
A maximum absorption amount has been set to 1000 Life. This skill will be redesigned in an upcoming patch
Skill Rune - Cascade
Fixed an issue that was causing Arcane Torrent to fire 3 new missiles per kill instead of only 1 new missile per kill
Number of new missiles generated from this rune will now cap at 10 missiles
Skill Rune - Force Armor
Amount of damage absorbed from a single attack will now cap at 100% of a player's maximum Life
The rare chest in the Town Cellar in Alcarnus will now only spawn 50% of the time, down from 100%
Players can no longer dual-wield two-handed weapons

Duration of immunity granted to nearby allies from crowd control effects reduced from 2 seconds to 1 second

Equipping a shield on a follower as a demon hunter will no longer disconnect you from the game.

The Enchantress will now always appear during the quest and quest step "Shadows in the Desert : Disrupt the Hidden Conclave."
Tyrael will now always be present for the in-game cutscene during the quest and quest step "Prime Evil : Climb to the Pinnacle of Heaven in the Silver Spire."
It will download from the launcher screen and a small restart of it will run the installer no full PC restart is required.

I don't think Inferno was meant to be beaten after 10 days though
Assembled my Staff of Herding, cost me 150k gold and a lot of grinding but the secret level is pretty cool.
I don't know if it's worth upgrading so i can enter the level on nightmare / hell... i think i'll invest into better equipment first.

Been having a lot of fun with Barbarian in inferno, act 2 is hopeless at the moment for me though
Is the pony level a 1 time thing for each difficulty? or can you enter it freely after you have opened it once?

The lag is cuz of the load on the server not the new patch
