Would you make killzone2 multiplatform,just to get Gears of War2 multiplatformed?

The title says the question.latley iv bean hearing that people will do anything to get Gear of War 2 to be on the ps3, and making that sacrifice will be killzone 2. Any one agree or disagree to question?

Even though both games I are going to be great, I wouldn't swap Killzone 2 for Gears. Simply because we've got quite a few 3ps-types of games already.

MGS4 & Uncharted are already awesome enough to not want Gears (no disrespect). I mean, if both of those games were simply average, then I would want to swap, but we already have our fair share of games like that.

Not to mention that the 360 already has a plethora of FPSs.

However, if the question was changed to say Mass Effect series - I'd probably give it a long hard look.

Killzone 2 is designed specifically for the ps3, so i doubt it'd be made multiplat without a lot of coding effort(also, GG are first/second party devs to sony, IIRC). Gears on the other hand can be ported easily in comparison, what with it being based on UE3, but I doubt it'd be ported easily as well, because of the optimizations on the 360 platform for it and MS not wanting to lose a great monies franchise.

There is a lot more work going into Killzone 2 so no I wouldn't trade it for GeOW2.

Ya i would cause you say that killzone 2 will be multi-platform so that means we get it to and gears of war 2? I would be up for that. Both games would be sick though.

The "green team" can have Gears. Let the PS3 fans have KZ2.

Gears is nothing but overhyped to begin with. Gears 2 looks rather promising though... But nothing I'd trade KZ2 for.

Besides both games would have to be watered down if they were to become multiplats. So who wins in that scenario? Nobody.

Absolutely not. Gears 2 just caters to the hardcore American spazz so it doesn't exactly fit well with me. I'll take my much more immersive Killzone 2 any day.

Hell no Killzone has been in development for like 200 years or something, I have high expectations, never liked Gears Of War anyway.

Not at all because both MS and Sony have to have their own exclusives to make the hardcores happy and to make their console worthwhile. I do own both consoles so it's easy for me to say that but people should just buy a 360 if they want Gears 2.

I wasn't a massive fan of Gears, however i wouldn't mind it coming to PS3.

The more good games i can get my hands on the better.

For me to want either of them they'd have to make up for some of thier predacessors mistakes, First Killzone 2 will have to not be a console FPS

And Geow2 will need to make me not fall asleep multiple times with a low grade story and horrible AI, I'd happily give up quite a bit of shooters for Blue Dragon and Lost odyssey though

though with the price drop I heard about LO and BD might be within my grasp finally!

PS: Though if Geow has the train atachment as seen in CAD comic I think that'll make up for heaps

The only department GeOW2 could actually beat Killzone 2 in is gameplay. Every other category, Killzone 2 wins. Why trade it?!

I would not swap Killzone2 for Gears of War. I never was into FPS and Killzone 1 got me back into those games quite a bit more than previously released titles. Resistance sealed the deal and i knew then I really liked FPS again. I have seen some screens for gears of war 2 and they look good but the shots from KZ2 look so much better. It is the same character from UT3, they aren't making you play as Templar again they are giving it to someone else.

How does anyone know if Killzone 2 is going to be good, it looks good, but no one has played it. Ive heard that the first Killzone wasnt even that good. We all know how Gears is, but we have no idea about Killzone 2. I would love to have Gears 2 on the PS3 cause I know that the game is fun from the first one. But I dont know about Killzone 2. It looks really good, but im not going to hype it up saying its the best PS3 game, no one has any idea. Than if its a good game, people are going to say that its not as good as I hoped. Even though its good. Just wait for it to come out, then decide if you would have given up Killzone 2 to get Gears 2.

I know its sounds like I'm bashing the PS3 and Killzone 2, but im not, I love my PS3, thats all I got right now. But people are saying that Killzone 2 is going to be better than Gears 2. But we have no idea how KZ 2 is going to play or anything for that matter. We all know how Gears 2 plays, its going to be the same as Gears 1.

This was really pointless for me to say, cause none of you are going to care. But I wouldnt give up Killzone 2 for Gears 2. Its looking to be a good game. And id rather give something a chance, than taken something I know is already fun. Thats just how I am. I love new things.

Hell yah. Instead of having one great game for the PS3 that would make 2. Just because GOW2 is on 360 many of ya'll want to make it seem as though it isn't a great game. Gears 1 has probably the best graphics of this young generation and Gears 2 is also likely to set a standard. I love MSG4 and am a proud PS3 owner. But there is a problem when our second generation of games are still compared to gears 1.
