Basically, you can use the Like button five times in a 24hr period.

For example:

On Dec. 11
5am
6am
7am
7:01am
12:01pm

That's five...

Each one will be available 24hrs after it was used.

So, Dec. 12 each one you gave the day before will need to recycle on that particular time.

5am
6am
7am
7:01am
12:01pm


The rep button has always let you do it a certain amount per 24hrs. Basically, the same way as the Likes.

I'm almost certain that they don't. I'll have to wait it out to make 100% sure though. I mean, unless one of the reds can answer that without me, or anyone else, having to go through it all to find out.

Mine come back at 12:38pm to 12:40pm tomorrow. I'll hold on to 'em and see how it plays out.

Since they never explained it, or any "upgrades", we can just guess.

My guess is to limit how many you can give out.
Another guess is that it was "upgraded" so the settings returned to default and they haven't been adjusted.

My last one, 12-11-2012 12:40. I used my five up, and the last one on that time/date. So, 48hrs+ later, I can only give five Likes out, which I have, and the ability is gone.

It could be your user group. Are you in design squad? I mean, this is kinda ridiculous that we have to sit here trying to guess this shit. Mods don't know, SMC's don't know, etc. Admins, do ya'll know? CM, do you know? Does anyone freakin' know?

I seriously doubt it has to do with my user group. Yes I am a DS member. What I think is going back looking at my previous likes is 5 likes for liking anything in threads and 5 likes for VM. I've noticed that I did like 5 VM's and 5 things I liked from threads. It could be that.
