I just can't afford it. £10 might not sound like much, but I'm currently jobless and have no other source of income. The only way I can afford games is by trading other games in and I have to keep scrounging off my parents or my girlfriends parents. If you wanna buy me one, though, I'll be more than happy.

Would it not be possible for a user to save up a huge sum of points and then be able to buy a months subscription with said points? Y'know, like 15000SP or something around there.

Seeing how points don't pay for server cost I doubt that. In fact your spending more time here getting the points and thus creating more of a load on the server which mean the cost rises. So... yeah...

Can anyone explain why I had my avatar removed? It wasn't a breach of the forum rules, as such, because I own the console in question so I can't be accused of being a fanboy and trying to start a console war. It was light-hearted humour at it's best, and a cheeky little poke at the Xbox. If you are wondering what avatar I'm referring to, I am talking about this one...

I really don't see why it had to be removed.

I have an Xbox 360 myself so what possible reason would I have to use it to incite other Xbox 360 fans? I'm using it because my Xbox 360 RRoD'd earlier today, and I wanted to use the avatar because I find the whole situation funny.

Your intention may not be to incite 360 fans but it will when people don't know your reasoning. We have chosen to ban the use of it as a preventative measure.

In the additional options section of the 'New Thread' form there is a checkbox for adding a poll.

You get more stars when you reach certain post count milestones.

----No Stars----

0-49= Newbie
----1 Star----

050-099= Apprentice
100-299= Member
300-499= Dedicated Member
----2 Stars----

500-749= Superior Member
750-999= Veteran
----3 Stars----

1000-1499= Elite Member
1500-1999= Master Poster
----4 Stars----

2000-2499= Super Elite
2500-2999= Forum Elder
----5 Stars----

3000-3999= Forum Guru
4000-4999= Master Guru
----6 Stars----

5000-7499= Elite Guru
----7 Stars----

7500-9999= Forum Sage
----1 Gold Star ----

10000-12499 = Elite Sage
----2 Gold Stars ----

12500-14999 = Master Sage

Is anyone looking into letting us host our own avatars off-site, so that we can have slightly larger (in file size, not height or width) ones.

My Gif had to be cut back so bad it bleeds

300kb would be a great max size for an offsite avatar

Then people can start bringing out classy avs like this.. (smaller in height and width of course)

I could care less about those two, respect comes from other avenues gained through time.

1. Won't people be able to "rep *****" just the same based of stars and pips?
2. When will the post recount be done and can you share the details?

1 - Yes they will but it will mean less as people won't see a number for it as easily.
2 - The recount is already done.

OK, thanks for the info. No wonder I didn't notice a change in my count, I rarely played those games. I bet some of those people in the "Ban the user" game lost hundreds maybe thousands
