Could someone please tell me how to get a little sig pic to show up in my profile?
Everytime I go to User CP and try to include something(small) and follow the directions it never shows up.
Any help would be much appreciated.

AJe this plan looks weird until now. I think the two recent changes either should be removed or should we easily be able to get more stars and rep (Pips). I'm so shocked until now... I feel like I've wasted some time posting here

Logic does not work on the intrawebz.

Think of it as evolution. Small post count = Small dinosaur They get hunted by bigger dinosaurs, but the ones that survive do the same later on.

Changing the rule is a good idea, but it'll only work if every other forum did it too.

Can you post the image you're trying to use here so we can look at what's wrong?

Also do you have it hosted on a different site or is it on your computer?

We have. That's our fault for participating in the games though. If that's how you feel, maybe forums aren't for you admittant spammer.

. I do just post in those threads to let the people here know me more, or else so haven't I participated in them that much. I just hope this plan won't let this forum look strange compared to the others

ok, am i missing something? it seemed that seb was saying that posts would no longer be counted and that they were all reset to zero, yet i can still go in to anyone's public profile and see how many posts they have....

also, i cant for the life of me figure out what the heck this 'vBulletin experience points' thing is. is there an explanation for that somewhere?

For the first part of your post: It was only removed from the postbit, the thing on the side of the post.

I said the exact same thing in the topic in 'Forum Suggestions' but it would appear that, to a lot of people, numbers are far more important than the actual posts. I for one don't care about post counts, nor do I not care about having no number next to my name, but a lot of people seem to be bothered by the fact that others can't see how much of a post ***** they can be, or how big their e-pen0rs are. It's kind of pathetic, really.

Taking the post count away is a good idea, they did this over at bluray.com a month ago and it helped stop the pointless post and post whoring ALOT! before it was bad.you had threads about what's your favorite blu-ray snack...haha, now you dont see thats stuff anymore. infact they banned somebody with over 7000 post because thats all he did.........anyway on to my question, what is the bank for, and how do you use it?

You use the bank to store SP which are skill points. You use your SP to purchase things from the stop such as game and character icons

Your bank will become active once you deposit SP. If you have 400 SP on you, you can only deposit 399

are there certain aspects of the forum users can deactivate to increase the speed around here? (past just stuff like sig and avatars, im talking background stuff) i like this place, but it might be the slowest website ive been on since my dial-up days...

Yeah this site is a bit slow at the minute Sharky. Fortunately, it isn't as bad as it was a few months ago.
