    high hopes for Madden this year....i have stayed away for a couple years...but i did pre-order the 20th anniversary edition from gamestop so i hope they come through....

    EA dropped the ball on some features with NCAA this year AGAIN...i hope MAdden is more solid...

    The game looks gorgeous, I'll give it that much. But I'll still rent it first to determine whether or not I want it. Anyone know if the PS3 version will feature trophies? I know the game went gold a while back, but EA could still work on a patch for when the game is officially released.

    Well, i should hope that EVERY addition to the series is has the 'most realistic graphics of any Madden game', simply because it's the newest. You shouldn't go backwards.

    Truthfully I haven't bought a Madden game since Madden 2004 Maybe this will be the year.
    Setup of a college gamer short on cash:
    20GB PS3 (with 160GB HDD), Acer 22" Monitor, Logitech Z-2300 speakers with harmon/kardon rear speakers connected to a Creative X-fi 5.1 card, Logitech Driving Force GT Racing Wheel, and a ton of racing games with a few FPSes sprinkled in.

    I haven't bought Madden in a couple years, but that trailer was sweet and this game is shaping up very nicely. I just hope the Jets don't suck this year since I'll be too depressed to play Madden if they do.

    How is the button scheme for PS3 for 09? Is it the same as last year or can we atleast change it to match the PS2 button scheme.

    Trophy wise i think that ps3 will get the same trophies as the xbox achievements. thatll make everyone happy

    i may have to add this to my list of games to get...the last madden i bought was 2002 i think...for the ps2...i do have 2008 on my pc and its pretty cool....

    Lol yeah browns are pretty nice this year. Its the best graphics ive ever seen on a madden. This is a day 1 pick up for me

    I returned Madden 08 because it was such a horrible piece of ****! Is Madden 09 going to be 60fps? And will their options menus be a little easier to navigate>?

    Haven't played Madden since the first year on psp. looking forward to this. I'm ready for some football. All the new features look great and now with everything running 60fps and the graphical upgrades, should look great in HD.
