Best graphical game on PS2?

I think the best looking games on PS2 are Gran Turismo 4 and Killzone.

I'd have to say GoWII. SotC was beautiful in it's own right, but the technical demands of that game really took it's toll on the poor old PS2 - the frame-rate was awful.

GoWII looked clean, had fantastic art and ran smoothly.

i strongly disagree with that... the framerates were about even with each other... however... the screen tearing was horrendous in GoW II, SotC had zero to little screen tearing (screen tearing is more annoying to me than a slight drop in framerate)

God of War I & II hands down!

FFXII, Black, RE4, MGS3, and GT4 also do a good job of pushing the system to it's limits.

Lol you guys do always forget the Tekken games, even though you know it always got 10/10 in the graphics score, so... TTT, Tekken 4 and Tekken 5 were one of the best looking Playstation 2 games, and every reviewer agreed on this!

Not in terms of technology, but in terms of style I really like the look of all of the Guilty Gear games, Beyond Good & Evil, and Psychonauts.
The MGS games have all had a great look to them as well.
Games don't always need to be a workout for the architecture to look good.

For small environments: Silent Hill 3... Even the majority of current-gen games are weak in the area of character models compared to SH3... If you're talking realism, anyhow.

MGS3 or FFX, the latter holding up pretty well even compared to today's games. Really, FFX graphics are better than many Wii games.

I would say God of War 2, FFX or XII, MGS3, and Shadow of the colossus... are my picks but PS2 was such an awesome system so I had many games to play!!

seeing as i only played socom i would have to say socom1, 2, 3, and ca but im sure there are games with better graphics
