Why dont you ask the mods if you could alter the sticky instead of making a new thread about it, any ways i think need for speed is in it compleatly own genre, and in competition with Midnight Club 3 and Juced, i would rathers talk about them and leave Need for speed and the other two in their own genre, my honest humble opinion friend.

Yeah NFS is a racer not a simulation driver like Forza and GT4, I think GT4 wins as a simulation driver due to it having more real tracks and more real cars and 100% real mods with real handling, Forza has better AI but lacks tracks and cars.

I enjoyed my time with Forza, however I still feel like GT4 is the better game even though there are apsects in GT4 that get shamefully beat by the newcomer.

Id like you to point out what "Fake" modding is being done in Forza??? and where it Forza doesnt have real handling???

It lacks C-west and Veilside bodykits and I didn't say there was fake handling in Forza, Forza lacks a lot of bodykits and obviously cars and tracks.

You didnt say Forza has faking handling right out but you did say...

"I think GT4 wins as a simulation driver due to it having more real tracks and more real cars and 100% real mods with real handling..."

So your basically saying Forza isnt as real handling as GT4... and also just cause something doesnt have asmuch as something else its not considered 100% real mods??? I do see alot of body kits.. but also not EVERY car can have every single bodykit, certain bodykits are made for certain cars.. so Forza is just as much 100% "Real" mods as GT4.. just not as much variety as GT4.. and also arent there alot of cars in GT4 that are gimmicks of real life cars??? Thats what i heard from a kid at school who plays it.. and also Forza has Ferrari.. not a BIG whoop.. but still stuff that GT4 doesnt have..

LOL man you don't get it, bodykits are made for a specific car, especially the expensive ones as they have to take the aerodynamics into account but bodykits are made for a specific size and only fit the cars theyr made for.

Anyway when I said it has real handling I was comparing it to NFS, GT4 captures the handling of higher power cars much better than Forza or NFS, the latter make it look like a cake walk while driving a high powered AWD is anything but easy, GT4 perfectly mimics that behaviour.

Yes and Forza has body kits does it not??? so it has REAL aftermarket parts does it not??? so then its just asmuch 100% real mod as GT4. Yes i know GT4 has alot of stuff you can mod.. but Forza also has stuff you can mod.. engine parts, body parts and internal parts(not engine).. and they are all REAL parts.. and you can put certain body kits or hoods on certain cars.. cause you sure cant put a body kit on a ferarri or porshe.. but you could on a Honda NSX. So tell me Forza isnt just asmuch real mod as GT4.

Did you pick up Forza yet.. cause ive been playing it straight since release and i can clearly, see a difference in handling depending on how much horse power the car has and weither or not its front or rear or allwheel drive.

bodykits doesn't make it real aftermarket parts, it does have ral aftermarket parts from some good companies but GT4 has more, I'm saying in terms of quantity and bodykits it trumps Forza, of course Forza has bodykits but some of the scoops and hoods were designed by the devs themselves and dont really exist and with GT4 they've gone with everything that does exist, I've picked it up but haven't really played it, some cars handle high HP better than others, GT4 picks up better on that than Forza.

Actually, every review I have read said that Forza handles more realistically than any other game out there. Considering that most reviews have also stated that graphically Forza is equal to GT4, and Forza has significantly less mods and cars, there has to be reasons why the same reviewers that reviewed GT4 have been giving Forza higher marks, and I seriously doubt it's only because of Online play.

I'm talking from my own experience in real cars and GT4 and Forza, GT4 mimics the real thing much much better than Forza but I haven't spent much time in Forza so I probably have more to see, graphically GT4 trumps Forza 1080i looks gorgeous in GT4, does Forza even have 1080i??

A lot of websites will say anything if theyr paid the right price, not too long ago IGN were talking about how the Xbox 360 is over 2 times the power of the PS3 because the cell kicks 4GHz and the Xbox 360 CPU's will be 9GHz(3GHzx3.

I'm going to have to go with GT4 for a few simple reasons:

    1. When I talked to some "non-hardcore" gamers today they asked me what is Forza??
    2. GT4 has over 700 cars, while Forza has 100+
    3. GT4 has 64 tracks, while Forza has less (don't know the exact number on this.)
    4. GT4 is in its 4th installment, so they know what they are doing.
    5. Forza does beat GT4 graphical wise, though in my personal experience GT4 has all around better gameplay.
    6. Forza might have the graphics with inclose cars and such like that, but GT4 has a lot better backrounds compaired to Forza.

Though these are just a few reasons.

Man forget these games, they just not fun to play. There is nothing different from one race to the next one. I suggest you guy check out a better game, Burnout. The game is extreamly fun to play plus you can blow up cars. There is just so much to do in that game. Here is the trailer for the new version that is coming out next spetember Burnout Revange.

Yea....though Burnout, it alittle...to unreal. Its just a regular racing game, while Forza and GT4 are simulators.

Thats my point why would anyone sacrifice fun for boring old real racers. You can just take your own car out and drive it if you want to feel the real car do some work. The cars dont even freaking take damage when you crash into the wall its just plain old dumb, well at least that what i think. The story is better and teh game play, the only downer is that you cant drive real cars.

Actually, in Forza they do take damage when you collide with walls. You also have to pay to fix any damage you caused to your vehicle at the end of a race (it is taken out of your winnings).

Man, a topic I can talk for a lil bit on lol... I got forza a few days ago... I used to be a big GT fan, but to me the series hasnt really improved much since 2 except graphics.

ok Cars: forza lacks in this department but not as much as you would think... lets face it GT4 has more cars but realistically Forza has about 90% that you would actually drive... I went through cars I wanted to drive in forza and it took until the end of my list to find a car that wasnt there... this game takes most of the cars you would play in GT4 and puts them in a game...

cars I wanted to play that it lacked: Evo 3/4 (forgivable since if you follow the evo line the only real upgrade since 3 was handling and refinement... the 6 is in the game and works fine, but I woulda at least liked to see the 5) and the BMW M series (M3)... other than that every car I would want to play is there even cars I didnt think would make it like the 1986 carolla (a low tier fav of racers) made it.

The online play and scoreboards are good although there are some problems (not allowing you to disable things like TC and ABS). otherwise its a good system (I have some gripes with the xbox live system itself but the game uses the current system well enough).

Biggest problem is under customization of your cars... if you are expecting a large selection of parts and such you are gonna be disappointed... you can tell they didnt pay too much attention to this section (im a big fan of tokyo extreme racer, loved 0 and the level of customization as far as looks and aero parts in that game is superior to forza... unacceptable) Where does this show the most? The rims... wtf talk about a pathetic small group... no different sizes? for a game that lets you tune the psi in your tires it seems wierd to not allow you to change your tire size.... either way this is something they could work on.

Graphics are simply not as good as GT4 and there arent any rally courses to my knowledge, so a lil more diversity would be cool (like a rally only online section).

Anytime you compare a series that has been refined to the point of 4 versions... to a series that is just getting started its a bit unfair...

Forza is a very impressive beginning into the racing sim genre... I've had just as much fun with this game as I had with GT2 when I was playing that...

It lacks a few modes that would put it over the top...

Need for speed shouldnt be mentioned since it is basically an arcade racer... it would be like comparing Ridge racer to GT4... they are 2 different types of games.

I was highly impressed with this game, the biggest thing ppl mention is the cars, which is really a non issue (GT4 had 20+ skylines 40 lanevos...etc etc) only a few cars are really missed from the japanese perspective... I would like to see the R33 from the skyline production aswell.

Great game, I would definetly recommend it.

For ppl who are into cars games like burnout are not very fun... tuning the suspension gear ratios and other upgrades cost lots of money... also do you know how much track time costs at laguna seca?

Car sims are fun ways to tune and drive cars you would never in real life...(I bought burn out and played it for a few days) but to me I wonder how people find it so fun... some people would rather sit down and tune a car to its finest details just to shave a few seconds off of a track time, then post that time online... its just different types of ppl like different things... for me games like GT and Forza are more fun and rewarding.

Just offering you a counter position in case you havent considered it

mmmm what are you talking about.. when you go to select your car.. it it will say if you want to turn on/off abs and or manual and all that stuff... but if you want to play for your career ONline then youll have to set your difficulty offline before coming on to get what you want...

And also the size of the rimz change depending on what level of tires you get.. check it out.. if you get the final version i imagine on some cars they are 18 or 19 inches.. So if yoou want bigger rims upgrade your tires.

If you've got the money just buy both of them and by Euthansia racing too, it seems like a pretty good game, if I had the money to buy only one car game this year it would definetly be GT4 though.

no no u misunderstand... I mean the person setting up the game should be able to choose the mods... like a game where players cant use the helpers like ABS... this is something that most ppl who play the game competitively have wanted especially with the line feature.

It is my opinion that you should be able to choose different rims with different lengths and widths no matter the tires to find the perfect fit for each car... imo the rim selection is lacking.

    Autosubmission

Is there a way to autosubmit or just have our editors as part of posting an article, submit the article to all , Digg.com, Newsvine, Redit, Delicious, Threespeech, and News4gamers?

I know that our fans can submit the articles for us, but having it already done, helps the chances of all articles making it big. Also, not even half our articles currently get dugg anyway. So we need a way to make all our news is reaching every high traffic gaming spot.

Also....should we add a Submit to News4Gamers.com link? They are doing quite well and we quite often get a lot of hits from them. Think, its 1 hit for them for us to post it, and anywhere from 600-3,000 hits they send us.
