I was looking at the Playstation forums and came across a poster who found this awesome website. Make sure you have headphones and listen to Virtual Haircut. Click here and tell me what you guys think. Heavy Rain could be the best suitor IMO or even Siren.

Yeh, this would be scary for a game. Be good if they provided headphones too though as you don't get the same effect with normal TV speakers and not that many people have a decent surround set up, Ie me

it's so brilliant to sleep to! i really love this, i keep looking around when he moves away, lol. if this was in a game it would be so so good, especially in a horror game. i think i have seen this before in a game but never as good as this before.

OMG that sounds so unbelievably real!!! I was expecting something 'cool' instead this is amazing!
First thing I did, this is no joke, when I clicked play with my headphones on was take them straight off again thinking that my dad just came in to talk to me!!
I also cringed when he tried to suffocate me with the bag! lol

Woah! This quite possibly just BRILLIANT!!! Man, that actually had me cringing at the beginning. Seriously, It was actually weird and creepy too. Games NEED to have this sound technology in every last one of them. Imagine this in a racing game.

The match one alone made my brain hurt , I was seriously feeling as though someone was walking around me with a matchbox shaking it, Like the op said imagine that for Heavy Rain or another scary type of game that would be sick.

pretty cool but I never got the feeling that the person/matchbox was in front of me. most of it sounded like it was left or right, but not directly in front of me.

This is old, it's been posted around forums for years. It would never work for games though, it requires headphones to work. You don't get the effect with speakers.

Well this is somthing that needed to be brought up again then! But im pretty sure I said it needed headphones in my OP.

Well, my point was that people don't use headphones for console games, so it couldn't really be brought to the PS3. Maybe it could be done for PC games, but I thought the sound has to be recorded like this, it can't be generated.? Could be wrong about that though.
