I guess 3 if you want to count the one's we had at my dad's old place. It wasn't really mine though. I bought a slim one and have had it since, even spilt Dr.Pepper all over it and still works.

I've had two. The first one I bought at launch, and it worked great for about 4 months.. then it became a disc read error PS2. So I bought another one and it's worked perfectly ever since.

None. That option is missing.

Still using my launch ps2. I'm surprised its still kicking after all these failures I've heard about recently and considering that my parents bought it from a guy who was selling it outside a gamestop.

I have my original chunky UK PS2 (not launch as I waited until the release of GT3 in the UK). This is a chunky which I converted to flip-top (for Swap Magic) and subsequently have used with a Hard Drive connected via the Network Adaptor. I hasten to add that I have only ever use my own original disks. I do bot use pirated games.
Since then I bought an Asian (NTSC-J) slimline and also an American (NTSC-U) slimline. Useful if I need to resort to an Action Replay/Codebreaker for any reason. I usually use the American PS2 and Codebreaker (the best of that type of program) to transfer UK saves to a USB for use with my UK PS3. Also useful with dual layer games until I got the HD. I also have a UK slimline with a disk swap lid in the "standard" lid for use with Swap Magic if the need arises.

I bought mine from a fat friend who wanted to trade it for a 12" Subway sub (not lying), he got it about 1 year after launch, and he treated it very poorly, spilling **** on it and all that, however, to this day it still works! That is the only one I've had.
I also have a fat PS1 that I got about a year after launch that still works, and the slim ps1 that I got when it was released that still works.
Offtopic PS's, I have an original gameboy that still RUNS, but the screen has broke. I can hear the games, just not see them. I think that is pretty impressive. I also have a SNES that still works. In fact, the only system I have ever had fail on me is my 360 (not trying to start anything)."Our virtues and our failings are inseparable, like force and matter. When they separate, man is no more."
Currently Playing: L.A. Noire

Thats good Sam. My PS2 suffered a few beatings and worked like a charm too heh.
The results of this pole are pleasing to me.

First one broke within 3 months, got it in Dec 2000. Got another one about a week later. I sold the 2nd one 3 months ago and it was still working perfect.

I've only had one, and that's a "fat" from 2003, still works, though from time to time the discs spinning make a scratching sound.

Had three. Got one when GTA3 came out. Got another when MGS2 came out and bought a PStwo (slim one) about 4 years ago. Never had any faults with any of them.

Ive only had one and still have it 5years later, its given me such great service and time, same with my PS1, i respect sony for creating quality products...I will always buy sony thanks to this, If Microsoft didn't have such bad software, and technology as well as attitude maybe i would think differently.

My Christmas launch PS2 still works perfectly fine. Even after falling 3 feet to the floor multiple times. I play SOCOM 3 every once & a while. I also have a Slim that works great too. Props to Sony for a system thats working 8 years later after numerous falls and bangs.

I have 2. One broke, probably because of how many times I've dropped it. My first one was the original black one and my second one stil works, its the slimline.

I had one fail on me. One was the older fat PS2 which lasted 4 years, it wouldn't read any discs. 2nd one was a slim PS2 but ended but selling it because it was getting to hot sometimes and then re-bought one and it's been working great for about 2 years.
