got the first one, got it modded, the laser died, did a switcheroo with a new PS2, it got killed prematurely but my youngest bro (when he was 4 he got ahold of baby powder and powdered the room the ps2 was in). then I bought a slim one, only stopped using it because I got my Ps3.

2, one big, one small - the discs wouldnt read and disc tray jammed shut so i ahd to break it open, my slim one works still

I've had three PS3's...

Two black ones, and one silver one. The first two (the two blacks) both broke though, so I decided to get a silver one and it didn't break

I had two one from around August 2002 and the Slimline around 2006 when my original Playstation Broke down and was out of Warranty.

Had a Launch.. traded to it Walmart for an Online Bundle with ATV2.
Then The Laser died on that one. Sony Replaced it Free Out of Warrenty
Then bought a 2nd one for Socom with me an my bro
Then he bought a Slim One
Sold that when i got my PS3
Then my PS3 broke and we borrowed my cousins PS2 till my PS3 was fixed

So like 7 but only one actually broke

2. My first one I got 2 years after the launch, it stopped reading discs. I bought my second one 3 years ago. Still goin great!

I just had two my first one which was the MK1 the laser messed up. Then i bought a slim one that is still working to this day.

I had 3... none of which failed me. I bought the first one near release.. wasn't happy with the amount of games out and chose to sell it shortly after.. then I got a new one a year later.. enjoyed it.. and it lasted me up until I replaced it with the slim version..

I had 2. I bought my first PS2 (the fat one) in 2003. Worked fine until I traded it in for the PS2 slim after a year. I now regret doing that. =/

2. one dre'd then fried on me. second still works like its right of the box. its the quieter bulky version(sticker said it on the box) no issues whatsoever
