So I started a similar NFL thread that has been going for more then a year so why not make one for College talk. I have not really been into college football that much but my dad is a hardcore OU fan, especially since we live in Tulsa, OK. So I guess I will give it a shot and watch and pull for them.

From what I read and hear from my dad (good Christ does he talk about OU all the time) they are supposed to be really good.

How about that Knowshawn Moreno? True talent and he's what a sophomore this year? I expect him to be highly drafted come NFL time

Michigan has looked like ****, but they are slowly improving. The future looks like it could have a light, even if it is dull.

That LSU Auburn game was awesome. Best game I've seen so far this year.

rankings are out
The rankings are out for this week. They're all screwed up after all of the crazy games last weekend. USC is somehow still in the top 10 even though they're 2-1 and have a loss to an unranked team they are somehow ranked higher than a 5-0 USF team that has a win over a top 15 team..... hmmm.

The BCS rankings are rediculous. USC should be out of the Top 10, Florida should've dropped between 15-20, and USF should be in the Top 10.
College really needs to do playoff brackets, not rankings. These rankings keep getting more and more ridiculous.

That's always been an issue in the College system. The BCS system can be BS at times. I think they're afraid to remove that system because they don't want to break away from tradition. Clearly it is a big need a teams sometimes don't get the correct amount of respect.

It's not even so much the BCS that needs to be changed as just the people that get to vote. We need to get some voters in there that aren't as dumb and biased as the ESPN announcers that are still judging teams based on how they did years ago. Like how did Pittsburg start off the season at number 25 when they had a losing record last year? When was the last time anyone saw a team go from a losing record to being worthy of top 25? That's not something that happens in one off season. But I agree, if they aren't going to at least change who gets to vote, they need to change to a playoff bracket.

Alabama definitely gets my vote as the no.#1 team in the country.

Man, they made Georgia looks like absolute FOOLS.
There isn't a doubt in my mind that Alabama and Oklahoma are going to be playing in the National Championship game this year.
Both of them have tough schedules.
Alabama: 11/08 @ No. 3 LSU 11/29 No. 13 Auburn
Oklahoma: 10/11 No. 5 Texas 10/18 No. 16 Kansas 11/22 No. 7 Texas Tech 11/29 @ No. 21 Oklahoma State
If Bama survives the SEC and Oklahoma continues to dismantle teams they way they are both are undoubtedly the best in the Nation.
Texas however, has an excellent shot at beating the Sooner. But Mizzou's defense just can't keep up with Oklahoma if they play them in the Big 12 championship
