Medal of Honor Airborne For PS3
A recent announcement from Electronic Arts outlined their next installment of the ever-popular Medal of Honor series to debut on a number of platforms including Sony's next-gen console the Playstation 3. The medal of Honor series is well known as the industry's founder of WWII first person shooters and become a huge overnight success. The series is best known for its accurate representation of historical events and the creation of believable WWII environments to aid in immersing the players into war-torn WWII battlefields and scenarios. EA claims that with the release of Medal of Honor Airborne, players will be thrust into a completely new and exciting experience that will re-define the WWII series by allowing the player to participate in the complete and interactive airborne experience. EA is expecting to ship Medal of Honor Airborne as early as Winter 2006.
Patrick Gilmore, VP and Executive Producer at EALA went on to explain, "Medal of Honor Airborne is a step in a new direction for the franchise. While integrating our state-of-the-art, next-gen technology into every aspect of the game, we are introducing innovations that will redefine the series and impact the genre as a whole."
"By fully controlling the airdrop from your very first step through landing, Medal of Honor Airborne adds a new dimension of player choice by letting you decide where every mission begins and how it plays out."
Medal of Honor Airborne looks to be a radically redesigned title from the ground up. The development team for the game meticulously works to ensure that the game is as historically accurate as possible by employing counsel from a staff of subject matter experts and military spokespersons. This will definitely be a smoking hot title to watch out for in the coming months. Be sure to check out our pre-release review of this exciting next-gen title!
STAFF NOTE: This is not a game review.. that review is still up for grabs if anyone wants to do it.. there are some pictures relating to this game but my net is to slow to upload them.
