Where to get the 2,500ft sniper shot trophy? (Warhawk)

I can't believe I've not got it, I don't even know the name of the map I've been going on, but atleast twice I've shot & killed sombody when they have basically just been a dot in the distance, I get nothing... I'm frustrated

Anybody reccommend a map to do it on?

Archapelago is where I got mine. There are plenty of places to try it in the main land strip. The guy was a spec when I got him.

I guess it is possible you might have been just short of 2500, but I have noticed trophies don't always register. I had to kill 3 people from on top of the crane to get the Safety violation before it registered. And I think I shot someone in a jetpack without it registering once as well.

Yeah, Archipelago is your best bet. Either from the tier right below your main base (where the sniper rifle spawns in the bunker) or you might be able to get it from the first zone if you're shooting far enough across the map.

I don't know any of the maps names but when I shot him, even on a HD screen, the man must have been a few pixels. Still got it in one shot though

Yup, that's where I got mine. Archapelago is your best bet.

This is the easiest trophy to collect, Archapelago is the best map to use where the enemy is just a tiny spec on the screen, precise shots needs to be required.

I got mine on Archapelago with the full map. You have to be on the main base and pick someone off that is on the other side of the map. I play on a 50 inch HiDef and it was literally a spec when I hit him. It is tough but not impossible. Good Luck...hopefully it is not me

There's atleast 10 trophies easier to get than that...

when i got mine it was on archipilago, acropolis assualt. i was on top of the flak turret tower on my base and i sniped someone on the flak turret tower of the other base.

its reallly far. the guy was smaller then the middle of the crosshair.

Start your own server. Play split screen with a bud and tell him to go really far away. Make sure your player one though. All of the trophies work even when it's just your bud playing on the server with you. It's sort of cheating but I used this tactic to get those trophies that were way too hard to get.

i got mine on the ice level. got a warhawk and landed on top of one of those ice plains and sniped some dude on his homebase

Yeah, it's much easier to do it if there is a Warhawk hovering above someone trying to kill them. That's how I got mine, I sniped a Warhawk at one end of the middle island on Archipelago whilst I was at the other end.

I agree. This trophy is hard to get. I swear that I have killed a few over 2500 ft, but no trophy. Guess I will have to try again. Thanks for posting this question. I was going to do this also because I have been getting frustrated.
