I was planning on buying this game...
I don't have a single Devil may cry game in PS2 library.
What I have is Jak and Daxter 1, Ratchet and Clank 1-3 and God of War which is finished on God mode and i loved it.
I was also planning on getting Dawn of Dreams...
Well anyway here are questions
Is DMC 3 harder than Ninja Gaiden?? ( I beat ninja gaiden)
What's diffrence between plain DMC 3 and Special Edition?
What's the soundtrack of DMC 3 (Artist name/songs)
How long is the game?
Are there any unlockables?
How much is it?
Dawn of Dreams
Is this onimusha any good?
Is it hard?
How long is it?
I heard it came out like last month ago so I assume its 50 bux?
Thank you.

I would definitely recommend you to get DMC3 SE if you're big fan of Ninja Gaiden. In special Edition of Devil May Cry 3 you get to controller Vergil in the story mode and It added a new survival mode, the "Bloody Palace", which contains a total of 9999 level. A new boss fight early in the game, a "Turbo Mode" for 20% faster gameplaymand a new Continue system. Finally, it added a new difficulty level. Beside it only for 20 bucks.

Get both. I have both and they are both great games even though DMC3:SE is much better becuase it was executed better, but both are very good, but if you are to pick one, pick DMC3 you won't be dissapointed. Might be a bit hard but it's damn fun and Vergil just makes it kick even more ass!

I have played Onimusha Dawn of dreams and really it's good. I have always loved Onimusha and Onimusha 3 was REALLY GOOD. I haven't played any other Onimusha then 3 and dawn of the dreams.
But Dawn of the dreams wasn't THAT good. It was kinda okey, not too hard you just need some patient. It's not THAT good, I play it sometime but I never get stuck on it. But Devil may cry 3 Special edition on the otherhand is truely GREAT! I would recommend special edition because it has alot more things PLUS you can play with Dantes brother Vergil and he is REALLY COOL! Also you can get Special edition as a budget price title so no extra cost because it's special edition.
If I had to choose one of those titels I would choose DMC3:Special Edition EASILY. Dante has alot more combos and styles that you would LOVE to upgrade. You can do alot of things once you upgrade a style and learn move moves. Plus that game ROCKS I tell you. Dawn of the dreams is good but it's not coming close to DMC3:SP. Sure it has some good looking graphics but DMC3:SP is not far behind and it got way better gameplay value. I have completed it like...5 or 6 times with Dante and 3 times with Vergil. And im completing it AGAIN, now in hard mode.
PS: I forgot, Onimusha : DoD doesn't have alot of combos and doesn't explain alot of stuff, which by the way you need to find out for yourself. And I really don't like the fighting in it. Camera angles are TOO NEAR the character. But if you are an Onimusha player, then the story would satisfily you. Maybe not the gameplay as much as Onimusha 3.

its funny how Capcom just decided to make Onimusha a white samurai. i guess the japanese race wasn't 'commercial' enough.

I am on the final stage of DOD. most certainly the best Onimusha to date, loving those puzzle boxes too, lol. I paused to come on here, so let me get back to it. I will be picking up DMC3 too

Onimusha and DMC are basically the same thing, only DMC has guns. But I can't recommend anything since I haven't beaten either games.
"and I mean If he doesn't like you after he sees this, then you're just gonna have to go back home and put some more make up on."

04-09-2006 #9actually, with direction in mind, i think Onimusha is right between Resident Evil and DMC. got to love the classic Capcom style of direction.

Personally... while Onimusha is a "good" game, DMC3:SE is what to get... it's a much overall better put together game... the gameplay is more refined and addicting, looks nice, has a great value playing through two characters, and bloody palace...
plus... you mentioned soundtrack... DMC3's is awesome... one of the most memorable/kick-arse one's you'll find in any game... you'll find yourself bangin' your head along with it...

Yep, I love the soundtrack too. The gameplay value is great indeed, also the replay value is great too! I want to play the game over and over again, still I love it!

Having played both games I have to say that the combat system in DMC3 is FAR superior to that of Ominusha: Dawn of Dreams. Ominusha is more in depth with the item gathering and such, but combat is just so much dang fun in DMC3 is doesn't matter and you still get tons of weaponry in DMC3 as well.
Get DMC3, you will definately not be dissapointed. Its very challenging as well.
Ominusha is a solid title, and is pretty hard as well especially if you don't manage your herbs well. Getting the timing down for your critical strikes and counters is pretty tough.
Difference between DMC Reg and DMC Special Addition is in the SE you can play as Virgin throughout the main campaign and theres more costumes and such you can get through beating the title.
Beating DMC3 will probably take about 10-15 hours on Normal difficulty. But trust me you'll play through it on the harder difficulties. I've probably put over 80 hours into the game easily.__________________________________________________ _____________________________

i have played dmc 3 special edition and passed it around 9 times. no lie. a few times with virgil and a few times with dante. this game is awesome for the amount of stuff they threw in their for 20 bucks its a steal.
if you want a taste of the gameplay watch this: http://babildo.brinkster.net/videos/ComboVid.wmv

I play the hell out of the game, this game make me go nuts.

To tell the truth, my roommate has spent over 100 hours working on Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition, which in my opinion I think is nuts, so I would go for it because of its value. However even though he played over 100 hours in it, it doesn't top my friend's Disgaea game file, which has over 500 hours logged into it and he isn't done with it.

Thanks VENGEFUL_BLUR for the avatar and spyrde for the sig!

DMC3 because this was my first DMC game and it was absolutely awesome. it really did take my breath away. its a game that lasts ages there loads of really good unlockables. the upgrade system and cutscenes and gameplay are ace. the music is good. the combos are great. It's also a good hard game as well.
