Not sure if anyone here has heard of it, but it's a pretty good site where people buy designs. Basically, clients post up design contests with prize money on the board and the design team makes entries.
I think quite a few people here are good enough to make the design team and the money's pretty good if you get acceptedI believe the minimum payment you usually get per job is at least 180 dollars.

Though they're very picky about the people who join and it's a plus if you can do illustrations.

Design Outpost
Expecting the world to treat you fairly because you are good is like expecting the bull not to charge at you because you are a vegetarian.

Alright...I sent them an application. We'll wait and see now. Thank you Cera for posting this website. Another good one where you can make money as a designer and not have to be in the design team is www.worth1000.com ....This is a good website to learn tutorials and watch pros as well. They have contest that pay up to $500....but most of them are around $80....although all you ahve to design are logo's or just come up with a company name....

[LIVE]Valkyria Chronicles set for PSP
The latest issue of Famitsu magazine has revealed that SEGA is currently working on a follow up to Valkyria Chronicles for PlayStation Portable.
Known as Senjo no Valkyria 2: Gallia Ourisshikan Gakkou in the land of the rising sun, (which translates roughly to Valkyria Chronicles 2: Gallia Military Academy for us westerners) the sequel pits you in the shoes of fellow Ranseal Royal Military Academy student, Aban Hadens.
According to the publication, the concepts of the title centre on ‘school’ and ‘war,’ with the action taking place in 1937, a full two years after the events of its predecessor. 3D battles have also been confirmed to appear in the sequel, though further information is currently underwraps at this point.
Stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks.
