Source: Patch V3Patch V3 was submitted to Sony today and fixes the following issues:
PSN names below 10 characters stopping people connection to online games
1080 graphic detail restored
575 Leaderboard crash
Infinite laps / White flag bug
Crash to XMB after certain races
Good news for people who haven't been able to play online recently
I've also encountered the infinite lap/white flag bug where the race just keeps going forever, so good to know this will be sorted.
15Mb patch apparently and scheduled for the 26th

I have not had any of those problems.
I haven't tried online, what mode had the infinite laps ??? and no crashes for me yet

Experienced the infinite lap bug in Trophy mode twice..
