http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/701/701717p1.htmlIt's a historic day for the Xbox 360. Schanz Games announced that for the first time on Microsoft's next-generation console, gamers will be able to…[dramatic pause] ride camels. That's right, in the upcoming The Shadow of Aten, gamers will take on the role of adventurer Allan Scott and explore the mysterious world of ancient Egypt, camels included. There has been no word yet if the camels will have one hump or, as we all hope, two.
The Shadow of Aten is being developed by Silicon Garage Arts and will be on display at E3 in Los Angeles in May. According to the official Web site, The Shadow of Aten is "set in the attractive and ambiguous environment of Egypt in the 1930s , full of mysteries, dazzling treasures, half-truths and hidden dangers."
We're not sure what any of that means, but it sounds spooky. We'll keep you posted on The Shadow of Aten as news unfolds.

Na, even Untold Legends looks better than that.

Well, not every game is going to have gorgeous graphics, however, if the gameplay is awesome, then I am sure it will be worth buying (at 39.99 USD).
Of course if the gameplay is going to suck also, (it almost seems that way from the screenshots), then it's definently not going to be worth buying.

It's in 3rd person too
I was having the usual debate about 1st person vs. 3rd person(I'm pro first) recently and one point that came up was the 'idle time' expenditure in 3rd person games.
We were trying to come to a figure on how many hours:minutes:seconds we spent watching Lara - as an example - go through 'action' animations like climbing ladders where you aren't really playing the game compared to first person games - most first person games allow you to perform useful 'gaming' actions like shooting, casting spells etc whilst doing something as trivial as climbing a ladder. Also consider the button engagements to trigger such events. Imagine adding up all the idle time of all the 3rd person games you have played - eeek
In the end the 'immersion' factor proved to be the nessesary componenet of 3rd person games moreso than first person games as it would look quite ridiculous if those animations were omitted from 3rd person titles. And consider the improvements to idle time the likes of Splinter Cell/MGS have brought forward. Especially SC as it gives you mini-games to play in idle time moments like lock-picking.
Trivial debate anyhow - so we had a few more drinks

guess its just me but i think untold legends isn't looking bad at all. this game on the other side just looks boring after all the a3rd person adventures we had, hope for the devs it's some kind of low budget title.
When it comes to porting Final Fantasy XIII to Xbox 360, Square's of the opinion that it's not the size of the disc that matters; it's how you use it.

Yeah the screens look terrible for a next generation game. Even if they improved it drastically because this game is probably in an early stage of production. I still wouldn't buy it. Not really into that whole Egypt thing.
