look what i found :O
it's taken from pre PSP build (Sony are cheap and show an old trailer)
new PSP build is still in Closed theaters
so the game actually looks better than this
(but same FMV and art direction and battle etc)

Do I dare hope this might mean someone will leak the FF13 trailer later?

duckroll tells me this is actually an OLD build, before the PSP version was in development
so the game actually looks better than that (though FMV is the same)

Sweet. Can't wait to see how the three FF13 games relate to each other.

the use of cards is actually not as prominent as you can see from that trailer
i believe the main character uses them in battle, but the party has a vast array of weapons to use (though not sure how many characters you can play as)
as you can see from some artwork of the game, it is varied very much so

but i think yes, cards will play a vital role in the story too (maybe collect them)

Btw, has anyone seen this leaked VersusXIII trailer? It's pretty old (posted in July already), but I don't remember there ever being any mentions about it. Though, I was away from home for the whole July, so maybe I just didn't notice. Anyway, here's the leaked trailer:
http://finalfantasyversusxiii.net/20...er-leaked.html
It's not the best quality and the one who uploaded it has put some non-fitting music to go with the trailer, but it still shows a good deal of new stuff hasn't been seen (in motion) before outside Squeenix's Closed Theaters (only in screenshots).
