'We had 10 days where people didn't have power,' says Valve's Chet Faliszek, part of the large team behind the zombie survival shooter Left 4 Dead. 'It was this weird thing - you could go into the city and be okay, or you could stay out by my house and wait three-and-a-half hours for gas. And all someone had to do was tell those people, buth they were angry, they were fighting... it was bizarre.'
That idea of a world in crisis that quickly boils down to its brutal essence is reflected in Left 4 Dead's gameplay. Grab gun, kill zombies, and survive you journey from point A to point B by any means necessary. Even the controls are basic: Right trigger fires or attacks. You can carry only pistols and one other gun. The D-pad handles your basic gear - flashlight, homemade bombs, first aid, and pain pills. But from that simplicity comes strength: Valve has cut the bloated survival-horror game down to the bone.

Man I really want this game. Makes me wish I had a 360 or even a PC that could run it.

Zombie games scare the crap out of me.
I just cant play them.

I love zombie games. Love the first Resident Evils then the 4th turned me off of it because they were not zombies anymore. Dead Riding was awesome. Zombies are just kick ***. Really want to play Left 4 Dead.

I was referring to the console controls and the graphical downgrade you get with the 360 version. not the game itself. if i ment the game itsself sucked i wouldn't of told people to buy it for the PC would I??

When did this happen? Most of us console owners prefer our console controls vs. keyboard/mouse controls. This is why we have a console. Originally Posted by bigjonny

Question for you is, have you played them? Do you have substantial proof that the game is a sub par effort on the Xbox360? All Xbox360/PC games do not always run better on PCs. If you consistently played both platforms you would know that. Any game that gets high reviews is more than likely to be equally enjoyable to people who may not play PC games.
