I meant that in jest mate hence the
And i highly doubt Bristol City cost more than your league
I ain't one of these glory fans that support a club doing well and never get to see them play.
I like the scottish leagues for the fact that with a couple of wins and results going your way if your say 2nd bottom you can then be pushing for a CL place

i've supported Rangers for about 10-11 years and had a season ticket most of that time too! Rangers is in my blood and it always will be. I also love Arsenal! Seen them too!
The Scottish league is nothing compared to the Premier League, but we have some decent wee teams coming through now that would easily put up a good fight against the teams in the bottom half of the EPL!
Just incase your wondering, Rangers beat Hamilton 7-1 at the weekend. Next Game is Dundee Utd Away!

Rangers 2-2 Dundee Utd
although we never made any ground on Celtic, they didn't pull away any further because they drew 1-1 with Hearts!
Next Game, Rangers V Hibernian, 20/12/08, 15.00

Koki Mizuno puts in a blistering display as Celtic sweet aside Falkirk 3-0, then swept Rangers away with a 0-1 victory, Mcdonald with a belter, Hail Hail!

sorry i've not been keeping you all updated, i know you must be itching to know what's happening in the world of the mighty Gers!
Well, we got beat! 1-0 off Celtic (as some of the comments below suggest) it was the worst Old Firm game I've been to in years! McDonalds goal was brilliant though, it only takes him one chance to score a cracking goal and he took it well! that was the 27th Dec!
Last Sunday we beat Inverness 3-0, courtesy of a Pedro Mendes classic goal and a Kris Boyd double!
Celtic only managed a draw against Dundee Utd, so we cut the gap to 5 points!
But things are bound to get worse as it looks as though Boyd is on his way out. Our TOP scorer, being sold, makes sense! not!
anyhoo,
next game is, 17th Jan, Rangers V Falkirk, 15.00 Kick Off!

Nice to see some other Rangers fan on the forum.
Btw next game is on Sunday against St Johnstone in the Scottish Cup.
Should be a routine win but you never know.
Also the way we have gone about buisness in the last week is awful. Fair enough we need to sell players to keep the club afloat but BOYD
Ferguson can go for all I care, overrated player. Burke is away thankfully and Gow now looks like he is heading to Blackpool after failing a medical at Wolves.
Predictions for the game on Tuesday? I say 3-0. Hope we give some finge players like Velicka and Edu a game and I wouldn't mind seeing more of the Aaron.
Thanks to Thorzilla for the sig

Celtic seem to be doing their utmost to hand the title to Rangers at the minute. I know Boruc has been bad this season and heavily criticized but Mark Brown against Aberdeen was possibly the worst goalkeeping performance i have ever seen.
No disrespect to Aberdeen who did put in a good shift, but their final 2 goals were poor goalkeeping.
The first one: the freekick put into the box and diamond got the header from 3 yards out, brown was planted to the goal line.
The second one: the freekick bounced on the 6 yard line and another tap in from 3 yards. I'm not a goalkeeper but if the ball is coming inside the 6 yard box the keeper should be doing something more than standing on his line.
And Man City's 15million for scott brown. Well i doubt it true's but it doesn't matter what the current valuation is of a player, man city are always going to make a ridiculous offer.
18million for De Jong, when he reportdly had a cluase in his contract to get out in the summer for 1.8million. 14million for Bellamy. 19million for Jo, and this was a month before the new owners, says it all.A man can dream though. A man can dream...

Yeah we beat em 3-1, cut the gap on the celts to 2 points!
next game is Aberdeen away, not too hopeful, think we'll get beaten actually.
I would love to see more of Aaron, he came on for 15 mins last month and showed real skill, pace, movement. Looks like a topper!
Anywho, let's hope we can grind out a result on Saturday!
12.30pm kick off!
