xbox 360 price drop for christmas?

is microsoft going to do a price drop for the xbox 360 for the holidays? because then i will buy one:2gun:

They just did one for the holidays. The arcade is at $199 and the new 60gig model is at $299.99 and the Elite is $399.99. They just dropped them and said they wouldn't drop it for along time now.

ok. it seemed like there were at the same price, maybe i will put money on my edge card at gamestop and get one and save up for it gradually.

I really want a 360 also, but I can't afford one either. Will have to save my money from Christmas to see if I can get one.

So do you guys who dont have Xboxes have ps3s? Or are you both just hanging out here to read up on XBOX stuff till you get one?

I own a PS3. I used to own a 360 but wanted a PS3 more so got rid of the 360 to get the PS3. I want both but if I can only have one I want the PS3. Now I want a 360 without getting rid of my PS3. I want it because most of my friends have it and would love to play with them and have private voice chat while playing online. That is something that Sony needs asap. It would make the online experience so much better and raise the level of PSN by alot.

i'm not getting rid of my ps3, but i'm just going to save save save for a 360, money is really tight for me. i'd love to get highspeed internet and play online games especiallt free online gameplay like with ps3, but, i would pay to play halo 3

That's what I am doing. Saving as much money as I can to get a 360. Halo 3 is alot of fun online. I have trouble getting money, so paying for online on the 360 sucks. But it is worth it. The online experience on the 360 is very good.

I find stealing car stereos to work well for money for games. Either that or I sell an organ I'm not using at the time.

I would do stuff like that but I have anxiety so anything I do I think it will come back and bite me in the *** later in life.

yes they just droped the price back in sept lol..
the 199 console comes with a 256 memory card...
and 5 games.. you cant beat that price..

It is lower than Wii and about same price as PSP, which is a handheld !!!

I mean the next step is MS paying you to get a 360

So i doubt we will see a price drop soon, maybe late 2009 or 2010
